Lucas
Either someone is shaking me or there is an earthquake. I decide earthquake and scream "EARTHQUAKE!" and shoot up. I open my eyes to see my mom in the darkness. She gives me a frustrated look and says, "Lucas Friar you're lucky I am half asleep right now or you would be spanked!" I look at her trying not to laugh and say, "Mom I am almost eighteen. You don't spank eighteen year olds." "I'm about to start now if you don't get up!" she said seriously and with that she left my room. I flopped back on my bed and looked at the ceiling. I can't believe this is happening I'm moving to New York. I groaned and got up. I started getting ready in the dark. I grab a gray v-neck t-shirt and some jeans and put them on. I took a good look around my room and went downstairs for some breakfast. It's just my mom and me in the house right now because my dad left early because of his job. I walk in the kitchen to see my mom cooking eggs and bacon for us to eat and it smells great. I sit down at the table trying not to fall asleep when a paper plate was set in front of me and I ate extremely fast, I almost choked four times. When I was done I threw my plate away and said to my mom, "When are we leaving for the airport?" "Now." she said. I went outside to the car and sat on the passenger side and watched my mom lock up the house and get in the car. I didn't want to believe it was actually happening but it was. I was moving to New York.
Two hours later
I wasn't really even paying attention during security or when we got to our gate and boarded the plane. All the sudden I drifted off to sleep just as we were taking off.
Three hours later
I woke up to the sound of us landing and looked out the window. I was in New York. We got off the plane and found my dad waiting for us. "Hey guys," he said giving me a hug and my mom a kiss, "I missed you guys." "We missed you too!" I replied. We got to the car and drove to our new house. I went up to my new room and started unpacking. It's not going to be that bad right?
