Chapter 2 - Spin the bottle

Dianna’s POV:

The whole time on the plane, I was texting Liam. He was so funny. And nice. And sweet. And good looking. And yes, I liked him. It was time to get off the plane. I was next to the window, so I had to wait for Dennis and Callie to get off the plane. To be frankly honest, if there was anyone who was going to ruin this trip for me it would have to be Dennis. I mean he was good looking, but sometimes I thought that was the only good thing about him. I honestly hated his personality sometimes, I mean at times he was good to talk to but a lot of the time I felt like slapping him. And lately he had been commenting on all my stuff on facebook, with smart arse comments and it was like shush. But I was going to forget about him. This holiday was going to be about me having fun and I really wanted to spend more time with Liam, honestly, I was hoping he would ask me out. I mean I know we had a thing going on but sometimes it felt like he would never ask me out and I just hoped he would take the chance on the cruise. I was also going to get to spend time with Callie which is good as, love her to bits. As well as Mitch, he was a sweetheart and hes someone I can really relate to. Brayden and I had started talking more too, so really it should be a fun experience. I finally stood up and bumped straight into Mitch. “Watch it” I winked at him and laughed. We all piled off the plane and I felt someone brush my hand and hold it and I saw Liam next to me. I couldn’t help but blush and smile. “Your a cutie” he said, seeing my blush. I stuck my tongue out and him, really not knowing what else to do.    

Mitch’s POV:

As we left the airport, we started walking towards the taxi. Liam and Dianna were holding hands the whole time. I’ve never told anyone, but I have a little crush on Dianna. I mean its not such a big big crush that I’m gonna make a move, but I do like her. We got to the taxis and we had to take four different ones, I mean there were heaps of people coming. After we got into the taxi and drove, we finally arrived at the boat. There were heaps of people coming along with us. Luckily, the ship was big. I really wanted this cruise to come as a good for me, kinda hoping to get a girlfriend from this. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

Callie’s POV:

We got on the cruise and we were assigned our dorms, omg yay. Can I just say, first thing I noticed as I was walking in, the number of hot guys; damn.  I think I saw a familiar face, this guy called Aaron; we go to the same school but he is two year levels above me. I’ve always thought he seemed nice and that he was cute. Ok well more than cute. SMOKING HOT. We signed in to get to our rooms. Dianna and I were sharing a room. YAY! We spent the day unpacking and meeting randoms. I couldn’t help staring at Aaron, I mean who wouldn’t. Then before I knew it, it was 9pm. Time for us all to play ... SPIN THE BOTTLE.

Dennis’s POV:

Spin the bottle. Yes, something I could actually look forward to, kissing good looking girls. We all sat around in a circle, as Mitch spun the bottle and it landed on some chick I’ve never seen before. “Ciara” she said and then leaned in and her and Mitch kissed. Alright, nothing special. Some random people kissed, nothing landed on me and then Ciara spun the bottle and it landed on me. She was quite pretty. We leaned it and kissed; but I pulled out quite quickly. Why? Because something was telling me she wasn’t the right person to kiss.

Then it was Liam’s turn to spin the bottle. How ironic; it landed on Dianna. They leaned and pretty much made out; yeah really wanted to watch that. I think she felt embarrassed, as she pushed him off and sat back down. Then she had to spin the bottle and it landed on ... me? I looked at her and smirked, before coming in and she followed. “Do I get a kiss like Liam” I whispered. “You wish, lets just get this over and done with” she said. Harsh. I leaned in and kissed her and we began kissing. This was a one hundred times better kiss than it had been with Ciara. It felt ... right. Just as the kiss became more passionate, Dianna pulled away and went back to sit down. I felt like grabbing her and kissing her again and as I took my seat, I just wanted to go over and sit next to her. What was this ... what was going on? Was I getting feelings for Dianna?

Brayden’s POV;

I had already kissed two hot girls in spin the bottle. But I wasn’t up for my usual kiss session with them; I had just given them a peck on the lips. I still hadn’t had my turn to spin the bottle. It was Callie’s turn now. Oh I really wanted it to land on me. But as the bottle spun, it landed on some guy Aaron. I had caught Callie staring at him before. Apparently he goes to her school. Anyway they both got into the middle and like kissed passionately. WHY?! I felt jealousy overwhelming me, I wanted that kiss. Finally, after what seemed like 72368712538251 hours, they pulled apart.

Now it was my turn to spin the bottle and to my delight it landed on Callie. I was expecting for us to have a nice pash but she leaned in, gave me a peck and sat back down. What was that, was I expecting more of her, did I think she liked me when in actual fact, I had been ‘friend-zoned?’
