How You Met

~Rose's POV~

I peeked around the corner of the temple seeing Aang trying to play the air scooter game with his friends but they all said no because he was the avatar. I heard about him being the avatar and felt bad how everyone treats him differently now especially his friends. He might even lose that monk he was close too. I took a step out and tried to not let to many people see me as I followed Aang waiting until we were in a less crowded area before showing myself. "H-H-Hi....I-I'm K-K-Kitsune....but everyone c-calls me R-R-Rose...." I stuttered out blushing lightly. He looked up at me smiling. I'm Aang! Is there a reason I haven't seen you around?" I twiddled my fingers slightly and bt my lower lip. "I-I-I-I'm just a l-l-little shy I guess....b-b-but I saw how d-different people were treating you because y-y-you were the a-a-avatar now and wanted to see i-if you were alright....?" "Yeah...i'm fine. Thanks for checking though.....hey wanna go play some air ball?" He asked and I was about to answer when a monk came out. "Aang! You need to train! And get away from that monster! She should not be outside like this!" He yelled and Aang looked at me confused as hurt crossed my face briefly. I gave a small wave before watching him get dragged off.

~Time Skip~

It was the middle of the night and I had another night mare. I gasped for air sitting up. I desided to take a step outside to cool down my raging thoughts but when I was out I saw Aang sneaking off. I followed him only to see him getting ready to leave on his bison. I gasped and ran as fast as I could barely landing on his tail before they took off. I climbed up barely making it into the saddle as it started storming. I held on tightly as we were thrown around before we were thrown under by a wave. His bison splashed out letting me take a deep breathe before another wave shoved us under making me lose consenseness fast but before I did I saw a bright blue light and grabbed the saddle before everything went black.
