~Mark's POV~

We must have drifted off because when I woke he was curled up in my lap, nestled into my chest.
Aww!
He's so adorable- wait.
Did I just call him adorable?! Well, this is going to be hard to hide.
I lifted him off my lap and set him onto the couch.
He's probably hungry.
So, I decided to make breakfast.

Time skip cause I don't cook, I just burn down the house😑

As I was pouring coffee into Jack's mug, he shifted on the couch.
I heard him mutter a few words but I couldn't make them out.
He started to move a little more rough than before.
He whimpered slightly and it looked like he was being hurt.
I should probably wake him up.
I walked closer to Jack and shook him lightly.
He flinched at my touch and cried out a little.
"No... Don't touch me... s-stop"
He muttered in his sleep.
I shook him harder until his blue eyes opened.
He sat up quickly, gasping for breath.
His breathing hitched as he started to shake, whimper, and sob.
Must have been a pretty bad nightmare.
I held him in my arms and softly stroked his hair.
" Want to tell me what it was about?"
He nodded his head and looked deep into my eyes.
" M- master came back a-and he-he..."
He choked out a sob and burried his head into my shoulder, gripping me tighter.
" Jack, I will never let him hurt you again. Everything's Going to be alright.
I promise."
He seemed calmed by my words and nodded his head.
" Want some food?"
He immediately bolted off of me and went straight to the table, sitting down and eating.
Well, more like inhaling.
God, his gag reflex must be amazing. Really Mark!! Stop doing that and pay attention!
After breakfast, Jack and I were went shopping for clothes and such for him.
I've never seen a smile quite like his.
It just radiates happiness and hope.
Filles you up with warmth.
I must have been staring at Jack because he was blushing really hard.
He he. Hard. Just like my- no no no stop. Just. Stop.
We continued looking at clothes and such, until Jack let out a squeal.
I turned and saw an awful sight.
Jack was pinned against the wall by an employee, who was groping Jack's ass.
"Well, kitten~.
Let's go to the break room for some fun~."
I immediately reared my fist back and it just happened to land on the creepy pervs face.
I may or may not have aimed.
I will never tell!
Jack was staring at the scene in shock. The perv turned tail (he he tail. Get it. Jack's a neko😜)
And ran.
I rushed towards Jack and embraced him.
" Jack, I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have let him hurt you. I'm sorry."
He clinged to me as if his life depended on.
" Can we go home, Mark?"
I nodded and paid for his stuff and went home.
We started to unpack all of his stuff.
As soon as I pulled a stuffed neko me from a bag, he had snatched it from my hands.
"So soft. And handsome"
I nearly chocked as his words sunk in.
Cute! Handsome! Well,.shit just got real.
He noticed my reaction and smirked, slowly walking towards me
" I was just telling the truth, Master~ I don't just think you're handsome. I think you're sexy~"
He whispered into my ear.
I felt my face heating up even more.
Shit. Shit. Shit. He's being adorable and seductive.
I smiled nervously, then walked past him quickly.
I could feel his gaze on me as a basically ran into my bedroom.
I launched myself and face planted on the mattress, my head landing among my pillows.
Before we knew it, I was out cold.
What a day!
