Chapter 30

The last thing Deku saw was a bullet going through him and Katsuki holding him in his shaking arms.

Everything happened so fast during that moment. All he knew that it was painful as hell, he felt like dying during that moment.

If he were to die in that moment, he would've be happy to see Katsuki's face the last time.

His vision started to blacken and he was now unconscious.

The last thing he heard was his name and Katsuki's beating thundering heart right next to his ear.

It was now the next day after the incident, the bullet didn't go all the way through his body, but he did need to get recovered by Recovery Girl so that wound would close and he wouldn't lose anymore blood.

The doctors gave him a little bit of stitches yesterday so the wound would be closed and Recovery Girl could heal it fully.

Thankfully, the wound wasn't any bigger than it should be.

All Might waited for Deku to wake up the next day, waiting patiently.

Sure he was worried for Deku's safety, feeling it was his fault that a hero like him wasn't there to protect him and Katsuki.

But if Deku were to die, then there would probably never be a Symbol of Peace. That would've left All Might the last 'pillar'.

And having Deku die would make All Might not even feel like a worthy teacher at all.

He didn't want anymore of his students injured by villains.

"Mhh....."

All Might turned quickly to see Deku squinting his eyes and opening them slowly.

Am I alive?

"Midoriya! Thank goodness!"

"A-All Might? W-Wait, what's today? Where's Kacchan? I'm alive?"

"You were here for a whole day, so it's the next day now. Yes you're alive, which is fantastic! And young Bakugou went home yesterday since the doctors didn't let him go see you."

Kacchan.....he must be worried, or not.

"That's good your injuries weren't fatal for you not being able to use your quirk."

"I-I know, I would honestly be sad. All that hard work me and you did......O-Oh wait! Does my mom know I'm-."

"Yes, and honestly she was crying on the phone. She said she was coming here as soon as possible."

Mom, I'm sorry. I don't want you to keep worrying.

Thank goodness the trip wasn't today, then he wouldn't be able to go. Even though he would force himself to go.

It hurt still even when Recovery Girl healed it, but he was going to take some painkillers to ease off the pain.

"Midoriya, I'm glad your injury didn't cause you to-."

"T-Thank you All Might for taking your time to  visit and stay."

"Anytime! But I needed to ask you and Bakugou questions about the villain. I would wait for him to come right now, but my limitation is running low."

"M-Maybe when I get better you could do it!"

"Sounds like a good idea young Midoriya! See you later!"

He ran quick, causing Deku to lay back by the wind impact All Might did.

He sighed " that's All Might for you."
