Part 2: Years after

Remus POV- 7 years later

I was exhausted. It's Christmas break. I am currently home with my beautiful baby girl. I smiled at Jessica Lily Lupin. She loves listening to my lessons at Hogwarts everyday. She travels the castle with Bill and Charlie. I laugh when she comes running into the great hall everyday at breakfast, lunch, and dinner looking for me and screaming daddy and running to the professor table. The Slytherin's don't like her but she has no choice but to live in the castle while we're in school. She leaves on the weekends and sometimes during the week with Mrs.Weasley to see Fred and George or Mrs.Weasley brings them up to the little cottage I own on the propatry with Jessica. I was the Head of Gryffindor house. I smiled when I heard a knock on my door. It was death eaters. I,"Crap." I threw what we brought into the trunk I own and grabbed my daughter. I apprated to the Burrow. I rushed into the yard. Molly,"Remus what's wrong?" I,"Death Eaters showed up at my house. I rushed over. Jessica's asleep. Can I put her in Percy's bed since he stayed at Hogwarts?" Molly,"Yes Remus. I'll get the guest room ready for you and I'll have Charlie dust the bed in Ginny's room for Jessica." I smiled since Molly helped me out with Jessica. I placed her in Percy's room while I talked with Arthur. Arthur,"Remus!" I,"Hey." Arthur," So you staying until you go back." I,"Yeah. I was wondering if Jessica can stay for a month before coming back to Hogwarts. Dumbledore said it was fine and he'll have the Hogwarts Express personally come back to 9 3/4 to pick her up. She is like Dumbledore's granddaughter. She's spoiled rotten. I can't say no." Arthur," Dumbledore did allow her to live in the castle while it's mainly for 11-17 years old. She's 7 years old learning about Magic and Creatures. She even have the ghost loving the idea of her living there since she scared Peeves." I,"Yeah. I was wondering if on Spring Break. If Fred and George could come up to the castle and stay for the break. Jessica and I won't be able to leave." Arthur,"I think they would love that." We laughed as Jessica came down the stairs. Jessica,"Daddy?" I,"In the kitchen sweetheart." I can't wait to let her roam around the castle with Bill and Charlie again. I smiled. I,"Jessica. Freddie and Georgie get to come visit during Spring Break." Jessica screamed. Fred and George knew that scream and ran down to their best friend. Jessica,"FREDDIE! GEORGIE!" George,"JESSIE!" Fred," JESSIE!" I laughed as they hugged. Charlie and Bill came walking in. Bill,"Hey Remus." I told the kids they could call me Remus when I was with Jessica or outside of school. Otherwise it was Professor Lupin. Jessica was the only one to call me dad at school. Bill accidentally called me Remus one day when a few first year students were leaving and he was bringing a crying Jessica into my room.

*Flashback*

I was finishing up a lesson. I smiled and had my backed turned to the door as I was grabbing Jessica's medication. I,"Where's Charlie with Jessica it's about time for them to come from Potions?" Snape had to be convinced that Jessica was really let by Dumbledore to be in class with the Oldest 2 Weasley boys. I then hear a different set of feet. Bill," Remus." I heard 3 voices. Samantha," Did he just call Professor Lupin by his first name?" Lucy," I believe that's Bill Weasley." I heard running. It was Madam Proffery and Charlie. The girls left the room. I," Bill what's wrong?" Bill," Stupid Malfoy challenged the Gryffindor team to a little prematch game. I had Jessica since I spend the day with the team around this time and Charlie has Trewlony and she scares Jessica. Oh and the team doesn't mind Jessica hanging out with us they see her as a little sister. I decided to let Jessica feel the rush of the wind. She rode right in front of me. I held my arms protectively around her. Malfoy decides to hit a burgle. I had a substitute player come in while I hovered with Jessica by the ground. He heat a burgle at Jessica's arm. It hit her arm and made her fall onto her ankle at an odd angle. So I had Charlie run to get Madam Proffery. I rushed here with her." I," I'm going to have to take this to Professor Dumbledore. Madam Proffery do you have anything to give her." Madam Proffery," I do. I suggest you have Molly come and get her to take her for the night. It's that or you have her here with you in your class all day tomorrow until Bill or Charlie have a free period." I," I'll do the second option." I walked to the headmaster's office. I," Every Flavored Bean." I took the steps up to the office. I knocked on the door. Dumbledore," Come in." I," Dumbledore Jessica got seriously hurt by Jason Malfoy when she was under the watch of Bill Weasley." Dumbledore," I guess I have to expelled him. Thank you for coming to me Remus." I," Your Welcome headmaster."

*Flashback Ends*

After that day I didn't see no sign of Jason Malfoy. I have to deal with Tommy Malfoy though he's coming in when Jessica's year. I smiled and decided to let the kids have fun. I decided to leave to get some grading done by the lake. I smiled. I love Jessica even if she's really his daughter. I decided to send Sirius a letter and picture of Jessica now. I send a letter and picutre every year since he is in Azkaban.

3 months later....

I'm done teaching a lesson. It's Friday and I'm about to walk down to the Great Hall. Bill's gf and Charlie's gf are helping me out by giving Jessica a bath in our cottage. She gets to eat dinner in her pjs. Dumbledore smiled when she go to give him a kiss on the cheek before we leave the Great Hall since I have to put her to bed. I walked to the Great Hall in a conversation with Professor McGonagall. I,"Professor did you hear that they think they finally found Sirius not guilty. " Minerva,"That's awesome. I finally get to have a place to come visit Jessica on the holidays." I forgot Jessica see's Minerva as a grandmother to her. We arrived at the Professor's Table. We sat down. I saw a red head at the table talking to the ghost. Percy Weasley didn't like Jessica following him. I saw 2 girls walk in ahead of 3 red heads. I saw the little girl scan the table. Jessica,"DADDY!!!" She let go of Bill and Charlie's hands and ran towards the table. Bill told Charlie to save 2 seats for Jessica and him. I hugged Jessica as she ran up the stairs. I,"Hey sweetheart." Jessica,"I made a drawing when I was in History of Magic with Charlie today." Bill handed me the drawing. I,"Awww sweetheart that is sweet." It was a picture of Jessica, Dumbledore, Minerva, and Helga. I handed it to Helga Sprout. Helga,"Sweetheart why don't we put this in the Greenhouse that way the students can see it." Jessica,"It's a Christmas Present Nana Sprout." Helga,"Awww sweetheart. Did you get the flower pin I sent you?" I,"She does. She had me put it into her hair when we were leaving the Burrow to go to Sirius's hearing." Jessica jumped down and walked with Bill to the table after waving bye for about an hour to an hour and a half. Jessica had a booster seat where she sat.

Bill's POV- 15 Years old

I walked with Jessica to the Gryffindor Table. Charlie waved to us. He was sitting by Abgial and Leslie. I smiled and placed Jessica in her booster seat. I,"Hey girls." Jessica was looking at the food. Jessica,"Char can you grab me a piece of Chicken? Bi can you put mashpotatos on my plate?" Charlie and I,"Yes Jess." We laughed because we spoke at the same time. Leslie put peas on Jessica's plate. Jessica,"Peas are yucky." I,"Jess you have to eat them remember daddy ask if you ate at least one vegetable or you don't get to see Freddie and Georgie." She remembers the first weekend back she didn't eat her greens and she couldn't see Freddie and Georgie until she ate her greens. She ate the peas. Jess finished her peas. Jess,"Look Bi I ate the peas." I smiled and rubbed her hair. I hear Malfoy. Malfoy,"Think you could get me expelled." I,"No but you did perpousally hurt a Professor's daughter." Jessica was out of her booster seat and in Charlie arms and running to Remus to get away from Jason. I stood up. I," You hurt a 7 year old that did nothing to you but smiling and laughing while I held onto her protectively like a brother would. She does have a brother a twin but he passed away because he sent to the kiss when they captured the Dark Lord her mother was also sent to the kiss." Jason,"Yeah and my dad had them sentenced to death." I,"YOUR FATHER TOOK AWAY JESSICA'S FAMILY!" I was about to lung at Jason. Jason,"Yeah and It was fun to see Johnathan's eyes fade to nothing. That did it I lung at Jason. I knew I wasn't going to get in trouble at home or here cause I was protecting a 7 year old. Dumbledore,"Malfoy grab your things and head to the gate. Your father is coming to you. Weasley 10 points from Gryffindor for fighting. I would like to see you in my office." I knew I was getting a talking to about how I did the greatest right thing in the world since Dumbledore saw Jessica as a granddaughter. I saw Remus hand Jessica to Dumbledore. I saw him tickling her sides. Charlie stood there smiling. I walked to Charlie smiling at Jessica laughing. Jessica,"NANA HELP!" Professor McGonagall smiled as she was trying to save Jessica. We were like an odd family. Percy walked up. Percy,"WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE WE'RE NOT ACTUALLY RELATED AND HOW CAN YOU BE HAPPY WITH HIS DAUGHTER!!" That did it Jessica knows secrets to get on and off the school. She took off. Charlie,"Shrieking Shack!" We ran to the Wommping Willow and pressed it. We went down the hole and tunnel to hear crying. I,"Jessie." We heard screaming. I,"STAY AWAY FROM MY JESSICA!" I shoot spells at a death eater while Charlie grabbed Jessica and we took off back to Hogwarts. We ran to the Castle as the death eaters ran to the Forbidden Forest we ran to the Headmaster's office. We couldn't believe we just battled Death Eaters for the first time in our lives. We keep moving. I,"Lemon Drop!" We raced up the stair case. We busted into the door. I,"DEATH EATERS IN THE FORBIDDEN FOREST!"
