It's like a wind that gently strokes me
It's like a dust that gently drifts along
You're there but somehow I can't reach you

Back to the class, they were having a mathematics lesson. Jessica wasn't very good in that subject and that was the reason she seemed to grow drowsy as time passed. She tried hard to survive by propping her cheeks in her palms. Taeyeon, who sat two rows in front of her also appeared blank but she still managed to concentrate.

In the end, Jessica fell asleep whilst Tiffany took the initiative to cover her head with a textbook. It was a pretty obvious sight but fortunately, the teacher didn't really care much about his students and just went on with his teaching.

After an hour, the bell rang, which indicated that their lessons had come to an end after a long day. After the teacher took his leave, everyone began to pack their stuff and prepare to leave, including Taeyeon. On the other side, Jessica was still in dreamland. Regardless of that, Taeyeon just walked out of the classroom after she finished packing her stuff.

"Hey, Jess! Wake up!" Tiffany shook the sleeping girl's shoulder upon seeing Taeyeon leaving.

Jessica slowly raised her head and straightened her back as she leaned back against the backrest and stretched her arms with a big yawn. "What time is it now?" she asked with a hoarse voice, still unaware of the real situation.

"It's time to go home, silly."

"Huh?" Jessica blinked her eyes.

"Taeyeon already left."

"What?" Jessica was still confused. She shifted her gaze to Taeyeon's seat and gasped. Tiffany was right. Taeyeon had gone. "No way!" she immediately packed her stuff and sprinted out of the classroom, making her way towards the open-air parking lot in front of the main building.

Upon arriving there, Jessica smiled and sighed in relief when she spotted Taeyeon's car still on the same place. She continued to run to get there quickly only to be left just like that as Taeyeon drove off without hesitation.

"Wait!" Jessica shouted but the car didn't stop, in fact it was being driven faster until it disappeared from her sight in the blink of an eye.

She started to run again but fell on the ground, coughing. She had run out of energy after running that made her breathless for a while. Not to mention the hot weather drained her energy even more.

With the remaining strength, Jessica managed to stand on her feet again. She cleaned up the dirt over her knees. There was a collinear injury in her right knee and it led to difficulty for her to walk properly.

Still, compared to the pain on her once was unblemished skin, her heart was in pain more at the moment. She wanted to cry so much but how can she do that when she was surrounded by many people?

In the end, Jessica dragged herself out of the school area. She had to walk on her own to the bus stop, where Taeyeon left her in the morning. From a distance, she once again spotted the familiar car in front of the bus stop. It was Taeyeon, who was apparently waiting for her.

The sight brought a small smile on Jessica's face. Despite her injury, she still ran until she got there. She stood in front of the door of the driver seat and tapped the window gently for a couple of times.

Taeyeon heaved a heavy sigh and let the window rolled down.

"Are you waiting for me?" Jessica asked softly.
