Pearl looked up and saw her sitting there... It was her. She remembered that face. She'd know it from a mile away. She knew that smile. She knew exactly who that was.
Pearl stared, and smiled. She found her. She was alive. She was there.
It was Violet.
"Y-your alive" Pearl attempted to sit up, but only for it to result in pain shooting through her body.
"Shh." Violet said, helping Pearl lie back down. "You're alive. We're both alive. That's all that matters. Now get back to sleep."
"What time is it?" Pearl asked. Violet hated seeing Pearl like this but at least she was ok.
"It's 3 am. So get back to sleep." Violet pulled the sheets up, tucking Pearl in, and kissing her on the forehead.
Before she knew it, Pearl was asleep. Violet brushed stray hairs off of pearls face before kissing her on the cheek. "Goodnight, sweet prince." She whispered.
