Pearl pulled out her Keys and slowly opened the door... Trying to be as quiet as possible so she didn't wake up Violet. She walked into the apartment to see that the kitchen light was on, and piles of bottles sat upon the living room table. She walked into the kitchen to find Violet there, baking, or at least trying to bake a red velvet cake. Pearls favourite.
"V-Vi?" Pearl walked over into the kitchen.
"I wanted to cook you your favourite before you left. I just, I didn't get to explain myself and I'm sorry. I'm so fucking sorry I just didn't know what I was thinking. I was young and we dated and we just split apart and I didn't know he would be there in so-" Violet was cut off by pearls embrace.
"Don't worry about it. I'm not leaving. I'm staying right here. With you."
Pearl kissed Violet. Violet loved this. She loved this embrace. She loved the kiss. She loved this moment in time. And she never let go.
