she felt so heart broken. Her "true love" had left again, and she didn't know what she did wrong this time. She seemed to always think SHE was the one who did something, when in reality it was never her fault to begin with. She gave this kid everything he had ever wanted from her, even if she didn't want to do it. She felt worthless and pity, but she couldn't seem to leave him. Why was that? she couldn't even answer that for herself. She felt like her whole world, has just fallen apart, and there was nothing she could do. He was gone, and she was pretty sure he was never coming back.

1 YEAR AGO

"alright dad, I'm getting in the car!!!"

"I told you to be ready already Kate!"

"whatever."

She got in the car with her little brother and dad, she didn't even want to go camping this weekend but since it was Father's Day weekend she had to. She wasn't so excited to see her step mom and step sister for a whole week, she'd rather stay at her grandparents and be bored then to stay at a camp ground. Her dad didn't allow her to have a phone, but her little brother did since he lived with their mother. Kate, her father, and her 10 year old brother rode in the car together, while Danielle and Emily rode in the other car. Kate had a good time riding in the car with the 2 boys, listening to music and making jokes. They soon arrived to the camp grounds where Kate discovered hot boys, but that didn't stop her from playing on her brothers phone. She downloaded the app 'Hot or Not' before they had left for the camp grounds, just to be a stupid 14 year old. They had cooked their dinner on a fire and ate, played some games, and did family stuff. Then the adults sat around the fire while Kate, Holden, and Emily all played hide and seek. Kate saw this very very cute boy on that app, and they matched so they started talking and he got her snapchat. They started snap chatting that night, man was she excited. She thought to herself
"How can someone soooo cute like him, ever like a girl like me? 🙄🙄"

She sooner started catching feelings for this boy, it was all great and fun until they started getting serious. This boy lived 1 hr 20 mins away from where her father lived, and only 20 mins from where her mother lived. She was so excited to meet him.
Kate and her brother went back to their mothers after, Father's Day weekend. Kate had started making plans to hang with alex, but he seemed down for it so she was happy. Kate and alex finally had set up a date to hang out, and it got close to time to go to the movies to finally meet him...but he had texted Kate and apologized but said that his mom wouldn't let him leave. Kate was upset but she got over it cause I mean, things happen. They started talking about hanging that summer but it just never really happened, Kate was started to get disappointed, but she didn't let him see that.
  Alex started getting sexual over the phone with her, and she thought it was cool cause some really cute dude is digging her. So she was doing stuff back.
   Well a few months past by, and they still hadn't hung out and school was starting back up and she didn't have a phone, so they didn't talk as often as they liked. He was very controlling though, he didn't want her flirting or talking to any other guys at school cause they didn't go to the same school. A few months past by, and she started dating a kid that she had been friends with for over a year from a school to use to go to, his name was Dj. Everything was going good, she was happy and didn't see it as a big problem. Alex had started texting her and he didn't want her at first, but now that she had a boyfriend he would send her text
"baby I want you, and only you"
"I love you❤️"
"break up with your boyfriend, I can make you happier."
"you're all I never need in my life."

So eventually Kate gave in, she had broken up with Dj for Alex. She thought everything he said was true...that's was until she saw the true him, and the way he treated her was upsetting.
