"Cassie, someone's here to see you," one of the teachers said. I didn't know her name but she was one of those grouchy ladies that only think for themselves. I got up from the lunch table I was eating at, but she held up a hand and stopped me before I could walk to her. She turned to the side and showed a lady that stood behind her and almost instantly I recognized her. She smiled and walked forward sitting on the other side of the table. She had golden brown hair the same colour as her wolf. Her smile grew wider as she reached forward grabbing a strand of my hair.

"Your hair, it's so beautiful exactly the same colour...," she trailed off, but I knew she was going to say this so I ignored it.

"How did you find me?" I asked her suspiciously.

"Oh, I always find things that I want," she smiled mysteriously. I shook my head, my eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"Okay, what do you want with me?" I tried asking again. She grinned.

"Well I was wondering if you wanted to join my pack and get out of this place?" My eyes widened slightly.

"Can you do that?" I asked her, desperation appearing slightly in my voice. I knew that I was warned to stay away from the packs but I was so sick of this orphanage, anything was better than here right?

"I've already signed and finished every single documentation, now all I need is for you to agree." Instantly I started nodding, I was finally getting out of here, adopted at last. I didn't need to wait till I was 18.

"Well do you want to go now, I can see that you don't really need to say goodbye to your friends," the lady said gesturing around the empty table. I nodded and we started walking out. Some of the kids in the room glanced at us as we left but none of them said anything.

"So your names Cassandra? Do you have a last name?" She asked me. I shook my head.

"No just Cassandra and call me Cassie," I replied.

"I'm Charlotte," she said as we got into her car, I smiled. This is the best thing that's happened in my life so far.

"You mean our life," stated my wolf. I chuckled.

"So Cassie, do you have much knowledge about packs and werewolves? Have you been in any packs before?" Charlotte asked me.

I shook my head. "I've never been in a pack so I only know bits and peices from rogues but I'll learn as I go."

"Well then you're going to be shocked at how big ours is, we're called the Black Arrow pack. I know it's a cheesy name, it just stuck though." I laughed at her comment. She started the car and drove off down the road, I didn't even bother looking back, I knew I wouldn't see it ever again. "Well Cassie, I'm the Luna of my pack and my husband John agreed to let you join," Charlotte began. I nodded in reply, knowing that in the way she said that, it was more like she forced her husband to let me join. I frowned slightly.

"Charlotte, why do you want me to join your pack?" I asked her. She smiled shaking her head.

"Because the other day when I saw you, I just felt a connection... I don't know how to explain it but, something was there." I smiled back at her knowing what she meant as I felt it too.

"Also you are the perfect choice for one of my top secret missions. I would like you to keep it a secret that you're a werewolf, as I want you to start a connection with the people your age as 'human' to werewolf." I frowned, completely confused by her order.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"In our pack there's a one sided war between the humans and werewolves, mainly around your age group though. The humans aren't aware that they're Were's but they know somethings splitting them apart, so they're giving into the one sidedness of things. I want you to give the impersonation that you're human so that you get a feel of who will be your true friends and not just those people who accept you just because you're a werewolf," she replied. I nodded completely understanding now at what she meant.

"But I can't hide my scent," I said. She looked at me surprised.

"What do you mean, your hiding your scent right now? I can't smell a single thing coming from you," she replied. This is when I became surprised. I smelt the air and I could easily smell my own scent which for some reason always smelt like honey it was weird.

"So you can't smell honey at all?" I blurted out. She laughed loudly.

"Is that what you smell like?" She laughed. "I know!" she shouted suddenly excited. "We always test this on the children. Can you tell me what kind of things I have done today just by my scent." I grinned, this'll be easy. I took a deep breath in. "Well, firstly your overall smell is kind of like chocolate actually. You have three triplets' two boys and a girl, your husband is the alpha and he has a beta who has two kids as well. You ate pancakes with butter this morning for breakfast, don't you like maple syrup? You ate spaghetti for lunch which is kind of weird Charlotte, I can smell faintly the forest beside the orphanage on you, and you were with the five wolves earlier and one of them..." I paused and breathed in deeply, now clearly smelling the sweet scent from before, now defining it as a peppermint type smell. I sighed but Charlotte didn't seem to notice as she glanced at me when she could while she drove, her eyes wide and mouth agape.

"You can tell so much just from my scent?" She asked me her voice sounded slightly shocked.

"Yeah can't everybody? It took me ages to define everything when I first changed and it gave me headaches every single day. But eventually I got used to it and made it more defined."

"This is unheard of Cassie, that's so amazing!" She squealed. I laughed, it wasn't that exciting and if I have to pretend I'm human when I get there what's the point of this small skill. "Oh and your speed this morning, you were so fast! Faster than me and I'm Luna of my pack!" I smiled, okay I think I'm beginning to get too much praise.

"So triplets?" I asked interrupting her. It seemed impossible but her smile seemed ti grow wider as she nodded enthusiactically.

"All three are little mischiefs but they're the most adorable things in the world. They're around 5 now..." I looked out the window as I listened to her talk about them with much love and adoration. This will be a tightly knit pack I was walking into, but they sounded amazing.
