Chapter 32

Janet's POV

We finally made it to D.C. I checked into my suite and got into the bed I was exhausted I barley slept on that bus. We didn't have rehearsals until the morning so I was just gonna lay in bed and watch TV. As I laid there I instantly started to think about Ana and everything that happen. I picked up my phone and called her and of course she didn't pick up so I left a message.

Janet: Hey Ana look can you please call me. I really need to talk to you. I love you.

I hung up and just put the cover over my head and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning I was awaken by my alarm. I turned it off and headed to the bathroom and did what I had to do. Joey came to the door to get me and we headed to the SUV and went to the venue. When we arrived I immediately started rehearsing. If anything can clear my mind it would be dancing. We rehearsed for about an hour and then we took a break. We was on sitting on the floor and I looked at Shawn and she looked exhausted. I felt bad that she had to be choreographer and creative director she looked stress. Just as I was thinking I heard a familiar voice I looked over and seen Ana standing next to one of the production staff.

Ana: Now when the curtain falls Janet and the dancers should be coming down. ("Pointing up at the ceiling")

Shawn: ANA!

She smiled and hugged Shawn.

Shawn: What are you doing here.

Ana: i still have a job to do. I didn't get fired did I ?

Shawn: Girl no. But I'm happy you came cause I was about to have a complete melt down.

They laughed. She was looking good as ever and I got up building enough courage to go up to her but as I walked over I seen Antonio running up to Ana.

Antonio: YO Ana this is crazy. Behind the scenes of Janet Jackson..... Oh shit Janet.

He ran over to me. I just threw a quick smile on my face as he gave me a hug.

Antonio: Yo I must dreaming.

I smiled then I looked over at Ana wondering why was he here.

Ana POV

I seen it all over Janet's face she looked upset and I just laughed it off.

Shawn: Wassup with that ? ("Pointing at Antonio")

Ana: I ran into him on the plane on my way here and I remembered I offered him the tickets so I just told him we can hang out and he can come backstage with me.

Shawn: "sighs" look Janet's been different lately since the whole incident. I think y'all should talk.

I looked over at Janet talking to Antonio and she looked at me we stared at each other for a minute then I looked back at Shawn.

Ana: ill talk to her when I'm ready.

A production staff walked up to me asking me a question so I walked over going over the set for the show. Antonio ran back over to me.

Antonio: Thank you for this Ana.

I looked and seen Janet staring so I decided to play. I rubbed on Antonio's arm and put on a flirtatious smile.

Ana: no problem. You know I would do anything for you.

He smiled back and gave me a hug. I turned to see Janet looking but she looked away. I just laughed inside. Janet continued with her rehearsal and me and Antonio went to the back. Couple hours had passed and me and Antonio was in the back cracking up at memories we had growing up.

Antonio: Remember when we both snuck out to go to Zach nelsons party our junior year in highschool.

Ana: Oh my god yes and we both got super drunk and both of our parents found out cause neither one of us went home that night.

Antonio: It was also the night we had drunk sex for the first time

We both started busted up laughing. Then Janet walked up.

Janet: I'm sorry to interrupt but Ana can we talk.

Ana: um not now Janet

Antonio: Go ahead imma go over here and get some of these snacks.

Janet: Please Ana.

I got up and followed Janet into the back room as she closed the door. I sat on the couch and she stood by the door leaning her back against it.

Janet: Look let me just start off by saying I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I played with your heart. I'm sorry that I was to stupid to see what I had right in front of me. I'm sorry that I pushed you and we got into that fight. I never wanted it to get like this.

I sat there listening to her talk and for some reason I wasn't feeling any sympathy.

Ana: Well I'm sorry it went down how it did to so now that that's out the way can I go. I have a guest and I think its rude for me to just let him sit there.

Janet: Are you two dating?

Ana: Maybe

I totally was lying. I just wanted to see her face. She put her head down and start playing with her fingers.

Janet: Look I deserve it. I know I do. But just give me a chance.

Ana: I did I gave you a bunch of chances but you blew them.

Janet: Look just please have dinner with me at the hotel after the show so we can talk more.

I got up and walked towards her and the door.

Ana: I'll think about it me and Antonio might have plans tonight after the show. But I'll get back to you.

I gestured for her to move away from the door and she didn't she just stood there. I thought aww hell here go with the bullshit again.

Ana: Please move Janet.

I seen her eyes watering up and tears start flowing down her face.

Janet: please Ana just come tonight so we can talk. I love you I really love you I need you in my life.

I looked at her and I hated myself for actually caring. Deep down inside I still loved her to more than she could ever know. She grabbed my hands.

Janet: Im willing to do whatever it takes to win my baby back.

I looked at her and i was falling for the bullshit again and then i snapped back into my senses and snatched away from her.

Ana: That will never happen.

I pushed passed her and left out the door. I felt good but terrible at the same time as I walked back to Antonio.

Antonio: Everything okay?

Ana: Yeah everything is fine. Hey what's your plans for tonight after the show?
