chapter 22

Janet's POV

She just blew up on me. She didn't even give me a chance to even explain the situation which made me think she didn't even care enough to know so I don't care anymore she wanna be over then so fucking be it. I was so pissed I did something that I wasn't expecting to do.

Janet:
About those drinks tonight I'm in.

JD:
Its late where do you want to go?

Janet: I'll come to your house send me the address.

I didn't realize what I was doing until after I send the message I wanted to take it back but I just said fuck it and grabbed my keys and left the house. I sat in my car when the message came through with his address. I started the car and went to his house. When I arrived I hesitated getting out the car. But I did and I walked up to his front door and knocked on it.

JD: I'm surprised you came. What changed your mind about the drinks.

He invited me in and closed the door behind me.

Janet: Something or should I say somebody threw my night off and I needed a drink.

JD: well come in get comfortable I'll be right back with some glasses.

He led me into the living room. I scanned around the room and it looked like a decent place.

JD: so this person was it your boyfriend?

Janet: no it was just someone I was seeing. Just seeing how things would go but obviously it won't work.

I took the glass he poured me and took a big gulp of the drink.

JD: so does this mean you a free woman Now.

Janet: I don't know what it means. Its complicated. You know its because of that stupid kiss.

JD: yeah Im sorry. I been getting calls about that. People been trying to confirm if we were dating or not.

Janet: what did you tell them?

JD: don't worry I told them the truth that we were just friends.

We sat there and just talked and talked and talked. He was really funny and smart and I realized we think alike. I only had that one cup so I wasn't even tipsy I was barley buzzed I just wanted someone to talk to. I looked down at my watch and seen it was almost 3am.

Janet: Damn! I didn't know we was talking that long. I gotta go I have to be on the tour bus early tomorrow. Even tho I can sleep in my room on the bus I just need to get home its beyond late.

JD: I understand I'm glad you came through.

Janet: I am too.

He walked me to the door and I turned around and before I could say anything he kissed me. To my surprise I kissed him back. I didn't want to admit it but I wanted him to do this along time ago. We stood in the door way and just started really making out. For some reason I wanted more and I knew he did to when he picked me up and pinned me against the wall and started kissing my neck.

JD: do you wanna do this ("he whispered in my ear")

As he kept kissing on me and biting my lip my body was saying yes but my mind said no. That's when I knew I had to stop.

Janet: mmh okay stop. Whew! Um I don't know if I'm ready for this right Now. My mind is all over the place. Maybe when I get back we can talk about it. Okay?

JD: ("clearing his throat") Yeah Yeah sure. I understand.

He opened up the door for me and I gave him one last kiss.

Janet: Thank you.

JD: No problem get home safe.

I waved to him as I got into my car and drove home.
What a fucking night.
