Chapter 3 continued

I quickly put my phone away and walk down the steps and to my suprise my mom is on her laptop siting at the kitchen table. "Can Julia come over today? Her parents are fighting with her brother and she wants to get out of the house. I explained while breaking the silence. My mom stopped what she was doing and looked at me with a concered face " yes she can come over today, just don't let her go to the basememt i'm going to dye some of my hair red in a few minutes,"

"Okay i'll let Juila know," i said as i took out my phone and texted Julia telling her she can come over.

"Ok awesome thank you so much bestie i'll be over in a little bit," she replied.

"Bestie?" I was so confused no one has ever called me bestie before.

"Basically it means best freind :)" This took me off gaurd comepletly. I was her bestfreind? Thats awesome because she is my best freind as well.

"Ok awesome :)" i quickley texted back while smiling.

After thirty minutes or so the door bell right three times. I quickly run down the steps and unlock the door and not to my surprise Julia is outside the doorway " hey Randy" she said with a smile.

"Hey Julia come in," she walked in the house and my mom comes around the corner and greets Julia with a smile and says " Hey Julia it's good to see you again,"

"It's good to see you too Ms. Adams thanks for letting me come over i can't stand when my parents fight with my brother they are so annoying,"

"I'm sure they will settle the argument soon. Well i'm going to dye my hair so i'll leave you too alone," with that my my mom was off and went downstairs. I turn to Julia and she blushes and smiles at me.

"Ok so my mom told me that she is doesn't want us in the basement because she doesn't want to the bothered,"

" How does your mom know how to dye her hair by herself?"

"My mom took cosmetology when she was in high school, she is very good at working with hair."

"Makes sense," I nodded. There was a moment of silence between her and I.

" Do you want to head to the skatepark? I don't think people are there,"

"Sure that sounds like a good idea," she answered with a big smile on her face.

"Ok i'll let my mom know," with that said I walked over to the basement door and yelled down the steps "Mom, Julia and are going to go to the skatepark for a little bit ok?"

"Ok Randy have fun " my mom answered. I closed the door and walked to the front door and put my shoes on.

"Ok let's go," Julia opens the front door and we both head outside. I quickly go to the garage and open it up

"Wow your family has a big garage," Julia commented.

"Well yeah just look at the house," I said as I went to pick up my skateboard. The back of the board has a picture of a skeleton with fire on his head and he is holding a skull in it's hand. As i walk out of the garage I wonder about those girls i saw at the park. I wonder if they are still there and if they are then what would they say to me?
