Chapter 4

The walk to the skate park with Julia is very nice. We talked about different things that happened with her different friends. " oh yeah and then lila kept walking side to side as if she is drunk but of course she was just really tired," Julia said while laughing really loud. Lila is someone that Julia has know for a long time. She has long wavy blond hair light green eyes, 5'5 shes also slim.

"You know Lila is single and she's into guys like her maybe you to should start talking or something..." Julia said with a blush. Why was she blushing? What was so embarrassing about what she said?

"No from what you told me she isn't my type," I replied while looking strait ahead," Right now i'm really hoping that she doesn't ask me who I like, because that would be awkward if I told her I like her and she didn't feel the same for me.

" so.." Julia said as she looked at me with confusion. "Who do you like?" Ah man why did she have to ask that.

" um..." I looked at around to make sure no one else is at the skatepark. " good no one is here," my body started to lightly shake because I'm nervous from the question she asked.

"I-I...don't know" I answered while shuddering a little bit.

Once we got to the skate park she walked in front of me and puts her hands on her hips "You sure you don't like anyone?" She began to frown. Maybe she know I like her. I really don't want to date right now, i've never been in a relationship before. I don't know what "romantic love" feels like. I put my head down as i walk past her saying "I don't want to get into a relationship right now,"

"So...you do like someone," I quickly stopped right away and turn my head half way so that she could only see one of my eyes. I slowly smile and reply "yes i like someone and when the time is right i'll ask her out"

She smiled but at my and the looked away as her checks turn crimson red from my response. I quickly turn around and and ran a little then put my board down quickly and stepped on my board as i rode down the ramp. Julia found a spot on the grass next to a ramp and watched me flip my board in the air as i came up the ramp.

"Wow you're really good at this," she said as she smiled big.

"I've been skating for years it's not hard to do it just takes practice,"I remember the first time I started skateboarding when I was eleven years old. My brother had gotten me into skateboarding and I thank him for that.I was able to make a few other friends sort of that my brother has met Tyler two years ago during a "skateboard tournament" as my friends call it. Tyler is 5'7 medium build short brown hair that is put in a Mohawk with the sides of his hair shaved.

Tyler is pretty funny although he does take skate boarding very seriously.

"So are you going to the skate tournament the guys are hosting?" I stop right in front of her and flip my board up catching it in mid air.

"Yeah i'm going i've mastered some new tricks i can show off there," i reply with a smile."So why can't you come to the tournament?" I asked as I quickly sat next to her.

"I have to babysit my little cousin,"

"Thats cute how old is your cousin,"

" 5," she answered. While putting her head on my shoulder. Another moment pass as we sit in the grass, i look over at her face. I can see her smiling which was cute.

"Hey can you show me your new tricks?" She asked as sort of cuddled in the grass.

"Yeah sure," i answered as I slowly get up and walk to a rail that's down a ramp.

"You'll have to come over here if you want to see my trick,

"Ok," with that she quickly over a patch of grass next to the rail. I quickly skate and jump and grind on the rail. Just before i get off the ramp I flip my board under my feet and land perfectly on the ground.

"Nice job!" Julia said with excitement in her voice. This made me happy because of her excitement. I smiled and grind the rail again. "Are you going to show me the other tricks you know?"

I give her a grin and say "No i think i'll make you wait till the tournament," she squints her eyes and pouts at me and says

"You would,"

"Ha ha yes I i would," i turned and walk towards the grass. " "Let's go back to my house there are people heading here," Julia looked over to the street on the left of the skatepark and nods as she too see that there are three guys with skateboards heading our way. She quickly stands up and runs towards me. We continue walking to my house with a few silent moments here and there. Suddenly she says "thank you."

I look over with confusion and ask "For what?" She smiles and says "for being a great friend and hanging with me," we stop walking and tell her its no problem. She gives me a hug and then we continue walking. After a half hour we finally make it to my house. As we walk in we are greeted by the smell of a roast "it looks like we're eating a roast for dinner, do you want to join us?" Again she smiles big while taking off her jacket "sure that sounds wonderful,"

"Ok great," i replied. My mom suddenly came up and said with excitement in her voice "basements free!" Her hair was so amazing the red goes from the top of her head to the middle of her hair and then fades black. "Wow mom your hair is beautiful i really like how the red fades to black." I said. Her hair looked really good my mom did a really good job at her hair. "Your hair looks amazing M.S Adams!" Julia says as she looked amazed.

My mom smiles while saying "thanks, well anyways i have to do some stuff for my work online so i'll leave you too to do your own things," with that she was off to do her own thing.

I quickly looked over at Julia and ask "do you want to watch a movie in the basement? We have a pretty big basement and its really comfortable." Julia blushes lightly but the smiles and says "yes that sounds fun,"

"Alright well let's go," with that said I walk to the kitchen and open the basement door to the far side of the kitchen. Julia continues to follow me while silently giggling. I'm confused about why she is so happy about watching a movie. I mean seriously this is like the dumbest thing I could of thought of but oh well. When we reach the bottom of the steps I noticed that Julia's eyes went wide. "Wow you have a big basement,"

"It's not that big," i quickly replied as I went to look at a stack of movies next to the big T.V. Julia sits down on the big sofa. I laid out 7 movies on a table in front of her, "which one do you want to watch first?" I asked as I looked at each movie.

"Um how about....Carrie let's watch Carrie," she finally answered.

"I didn't know you've seen this movie," I replied while putting in the movie.I replied while putting in the movie.

"Of course I have! I love this movie," she said with excitement. I laughed as her excitement was humors.As I sat next to Julia on the sofa she cuddles next to me which takes me by surprise.

"What's wrong?" Julia asks.

"Nothing...I'm not used to this," I answer and I put my arm around her and hold her close to me.

"You've never cuddled before?"

"Nope," I turned on the movie ad thought about my past. I've never cuddled with anyone before I've never experienced romantic love, it's just not me. Julia sits up and looks at me while asking "Does it make you feel awkward," I give her a little smile and answer.

"No I actually like how we were cuddling, I think it's cute," she smiles and cuddles with me again while the movie plays.

"Good because I like cuddling with you too,"
