Audreys Death.

Chapter four~Kind of a date..?

I was nervous at first when I saw the old, abandoned building, but I tried to stay calm and said

"This isn't a movie. Or ice cream. Care to explain?" I say and look at him.

"Phft, yeah. Just LOOK at it, isn't it beautiful?" David says with a faraway look in his eyes.

I rolled my eyes but when they focused my breath hitched in my throat.

It was like a palace, decorated in beige and red, weathered pillars made of quartz surrounded it. Broken windows that were stained a beautiful magenta and blue, some broken, some not. The place was huge, Ivy growing over it. The mountains behind it one gave the place a more magical and magestic look, A clear stream with mist leading to a pond, a waterfall behind it.

My mind finally cleared and i said "How did you know this place.. existed?" I say, looking at David now

"I usually went here to clear my mind and release stress.I went here since I was a kid" David says and smiles at me and he begins to walk up the cobble stairs that had plants growing on it. I begin to follow and say "Shouldn't we be.. looking for Audrey or something, at least looking for the video..?"

"Yeah, but didn't you say you wanted a break?" He asks and looks back at me and waits for me to catch up

"Yeah but... Ah, Forget it, when we get home I'll check at home, show me around this place" I say and catch up, we were walking side by side now. I felt something brush against  the palm of my hand and I look over, my face flushes when I realize it was Davids hand grabbing mine

'OMG DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID AUROURA SERIOUSLY!!' I think to myself so I hold him hand as well ans sare at the cobble stairs. But as soon as I feel his gaze on the back of my neck I raise my eyes to look up. As soon as our gaze meets he blushes and looks down quickly, I knew something was up with Audrey but this was not time for him to play with my emotions

"Something wrong?" I ask calmly as we reach the top, so I turn to him. "And I'm serious." I say softly, this time less calmly.

"Auroura.." He says and picks up my head to look at him by my chin.

"... Hm.." I hum in response.

"I'm worried to,  almost out of my mind, But hell if I have to try to stay calm for you and Audrey's sake then I will." He says

This time I stay silent and finally say;

"I'm going home. Your cat needs attention." After saying that I dash down the stairs, rwaching the city and end up running into someone, making them fall on the ground, hearing a groan I emedietly reconized him (SPELLING CHECK XD) and burst out laughing.

"Shawn! Oh my lord you scared me!" I say

"Meh, I have that affect on people" He says and shrugs, I get off him.

"You heard about Audrey...?" I ask, it was sudden but I needed to know.

"Mhm, Well, gotta go." He says, and gets up, walking away.

I sigh, shrugging it off and walking off, I wasn't going home, but somewhere else.
