Luis POV

After some of the others broke a wall. I saw Coach Bombay walking to his office.

"Coach Bombay can I speak with you for a second" I walk up to his office. I was already out of my gear.

"Yeah Luis come in" he point at the chair

"I know that we have all the players we need but I want to asked for a favor" I asked nervous

"What is it" he looked at me serious

"Well my friend Lola. She a great player. I was just hoping that she can join the team. She can be a back up player. " I answer him

"Will she be alright with not playing that much" Coach Bombay asked

"She doesn't want to play that much. So no I don't think she minds that much." I answer

"Well I'm trusting your word that she is good. But yeah she can join the team. Bring her in tomorrow" coach Bombay smile

"Thank you sir." I smile big. And walk out . I saw Lola waiting for me. I went over her and pick her up.

"I guess it went good" Lola smile when I put her back on the ground

"Yes and I talked to my coach" I said

"I was actually hoping you would forget about it" Lola smile

"Well too bad now because you are in and you are got come with me tomorrow. " I poke my tongue out at her

"Well I did said fine. So fine" Lola started to walk.

"You're got like the team. There's even a guy that from Texas" I said excited for her to come tomorrow

"Sounds like you will be replace" Lola joked

"Nope too bad. You're struck with me" I hug her from the side

"I wouldn't change it for nothing in the world" Lola hug me back.

The Next Day

So yesterday I took Lola to bring her gear. Today we are walking. Since both of our parents work.

"Are you excited" I asked

"Yes but I don't know scared too" Lola sigh

"Well you have me to help you." I grab her hand and she just put her jaw on my shoulder.

"You and me against the world" Lola asked

"You and me" I squeeze her hand. When we got there all the team was on the ice. After we got in our gear. Coach Bombay came to us

"You must be our new team member. I'm Coach Bombay" Coach Bombay shake her hand

"Lola Infante." Lola said shy

"Luis why don't you join the team. So I can introduce Lola to team" Coach Bombay said .I looked at Lola and she just smile. I went to join the team. I saw Coach Bombay talking to Lola and I saw her relax a bit.

"Team. I want you to meet our new team member. Lola Infante" Coach Bombay came with Lola beside him.

The team just look at Lola. I catch her eyes. She is nervous. I just wink at her. She smile and giggle.

"Now I know that we have enough members but Lola will be like a back up player. Which I talked with her and she says that she doesn't mind at all. So please welcome her and don't be mean" Coach Bombay said and pat Lola back. So she can join the team.

"Hey I'm Connie" I saw Connie skate up to her.

"I'm Lola" Lola smile shyly

"Don't be shy. We aren't that rude." Connie smile and walk away. I skate up to her

"You will be fine. " I told her

"I hope so" Lola sigh out

"Come on" I took her hand.

10 minutes later. We all were tied up

"This is more crowded than a truckload of goats." Dwayne complain

"Somebody better watch their hands." Julie warn

"Sorry i was trying to move my hand out of the way" Lola said shy

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know. I thought it was one of the guys" Julie smile at Lola.

"Yeah, someone licked me!" Averman yell out

"Oh, i smell somethin'.Eewh." Connie said

"Goldberg!" We all yell out

"It wasn't me." Goldberg said

"No, it was me!" Dean yell out and pull his arms up

"I don't know how to make this any clearer.
You are a team.And to win this thing,you have to work as one.Now as one, skate." Coach Bombay said coming behind us and coming in front of us. When we try. We all fell down. I look at Lola seeing if she hurt.

"Are you okay Lola" I asked standing up and helping her

"I'm fine" Lola smile at me

After coach Bombay ties us again.

"Everyone goes their own way,everyone falls down.
Now get up and try it again." Coach Bombay yell

"All right, all of you move to your right. Now." Dean yell

"Who made you boss?
Everyone to the left." Fulton yell out and again we fell down

"You guys can argue all you want...but i am not untying you until you move as one." Coach Bombay said from behind us. Like again we got tie again.

"Now you're learning! Communication! That's it!
Good, together.Move together.Charge! All right!
Yeah, that's it! That's it!
All right! Knock wood, Charlie." Finally we all started to moved without falling . After we got untie

We all just knee down. Waiting for Coach Bombay to said something

"You guys are startin' to look like hockey players. i'm proud of ya, team.You worked hard today.But hockey should also be fun.
Rancher Dwayne." Coach Bombay told us and also called out to Dwayne

"Yes, sir!" Dwayne reply

"Round me up some stray
cattle there." Coach Bombay told him.

"My pleasure!" Dwayne yell out and we all just skate away. After Dwayne caught us all. We were taking off our gear.

"So Lola what do you think" I walk over to Lola and helping her pack her things

"You're right. I should put my self out there again" Lola sigh

"Did you make any new friends" I asked

"I talked with Connie and Julie. Also Dwayne. But I'm learning not being shy" Lola put her bag over her shoulder

"Good. I like when you make friends. I mean I'm your best friend. No one can take that place" I joked

"True." Lola laugh out

"Luis" Lola grab my hand making me stop

"Yeah" I asked

"Thanks for forcing me to come. " Lola hug me

"You don't have to said thanks. I did it because I miss seeing that smile you always do with you are skating" I whispered in her ear.
