After checking the bakery and the school again Adrien and Alya still hadn't found any clue to where she had gone.
"Where could she have gone?" Adrien asked.
"I don't know" Alya said but before she could continue her phone buzzed. She pulled it out of her pocket answering the call.
"Hello?(pause)What?!(pause)Well be right there!" She said hanging up.
"That was Marinette's mom, there's a note on her bed in an envelope that says To Adrien!"she said as she began to run towards the bakery. When the arrived no one was there so they ran to Marinette's room. Her mother and father sat on her bed waiting anxiously. Her mother looked up to see them and smiled.
"Thank goodness your here! We wanted to wait until you got here to open it."she said handing Adrien a red envelope with his name in white writing. He pulled open the envelope and read it out loud.
Dear Adrien,
When Marinette confessed her feelings for you, you foolishly told her you would answer at the end of the day. Giving me time to snatch her. She will be back do not worry but she won't ever want to look at you trust me. She will be mine and I won't even have to force her! Also tell her parents she will be back in a few days. Thank you by the way, I will finally have the girl of my dreams.
