'No one', I thought. 'Absolutely no one!' I stood in the doorway of my new classroom that I would have to spend the rest of the year with. I realised that I did not know a single soul in the room. Except Chloe of course. But who considers her a soul anyway? Not me. I sat down on the first bench that caught my eye. On the right, second row. No one sat next to me. I felt fear inside of me. All of a sudden, a girl came in. She had ginger hair just above her shoulders and wore big, round glasses and a white head band. She was carrying two bags and two sets of work books. I then knew why. In came Chloe Bourgeois. Perfect blonde hair, expensive clothes but a horrid attitude and a stone heart. 'SABRINA!' Chloe roared. 'Find me the perfect seat where everyone can see me and where I can hear what everyone says!' Sabrina replied with a quiet 'yes' and they both sat down on the second row on the left. Opposite me.

The day passed and I still hadn't made any friends. I began to make my way to my last lesson which was textiles. That was my favourite. I have always dreamed of becoming a famous designer just like Gabriel Agreste. He is my inspiration and the best designer in the whole of Paris! Maybe even the world! His only model is his son but I don't know his name. I just concentrate on what he's wearing and how I can used Mr Agreste's techniques in my own work.

On my way home, I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. I turned around to find a boy with a sketch book in his hand which he hugged nervously. 'Hi. I'm Nathanael', he said. 'I just wanted to tell you that I noticed your designs in textiles class and I just thought that... um...' He started to blush and look down at his feet. 'Well, I really liked them and as I too love to draw, I was wondering if you wanted to meet after school tomorrow to work on a design that I started to make?' I agreed to meet with him and as he turned to go home, a small piece of paper fell out of his sketch book and onto the street. I picked it up and noticed that it was a drawing of me. It was really good so I took it home to show my parents.

After dinner, I went up to my room to finish my math homework that I had received from that day. I noticed the drawing that Nathanael had made of me and decided that I would take all of my old childish posters down off of my walls and replace them with the drawing. 'Not so childish now', I said to myself. 'New friend, new room, new me.'
