You woke up on the couch in the living room. The sun was starting to rise outside and you could hear birds singing.
You sat up and rubbed the sleep out of your eyes, throwing off the blanket that covered you. How did you get here?
You thought back to last night. Sans must've put you there when you fell asleep. That was nice of him.
You stood up and grabbed the blanket, walking to your room for a few more minutes of sleep. You were tired and didn't want to fully wake up yet.
You quietly walked down the hallway and to your bedroom. You opened the door and slipped in, closing it behind you.
Plopping down on the bed and covering yourself with the blanket, you started to close your eyes and fall asleep.
Your eyes blazed and flashed open when you heard footsteps in your room. A sword appeared in your hands as you bolted up and looked over at the window where Chara was standing, holding up her hands in defense.
"Geez chill!" "S-sorry." The sword disappeared and so did the burning in your eyes. You sat back down on the bed while Chara sat down on the bean bag.
"Not to be rude, but why are you here?" "Can I not get to stretch my legs whenever I want?" "Oh, well, only when I'm alone. I don't really want anyone to see you." "Just like you don't want to tell anyone about your...new abilities?"
You stared at them. "You're a human. You know what humans do when they find something strange. Especially if it's not meant to be strange. They'll prod at it with needles and conduct tests. I'll become their little hamster."
Chara sighed. "That's true. And with their advanced technology, everything will probably be more painful." "Thanks for the reassurance." Chara looked over and let out a small laugh. "I'm just saying. And I really don't want you to be a hamster. I'm stuck with you, remember?"
"You never said that." "Yeah I think I did." You let out a frustrated sigh. "Whatever. Do you want anything to eat?" Chara pulled out a chocolate from somewhere and started to eat. "I got this, and I actually don't need to eat."
"Oh, I didn't know that." Chara finished their chocolate bar and stood up. "I'll see you later (Y/n)." "Wait-" Chara disappeared as you felt their presence enter you head. You sighed and stood up, walking to your door. Thanks to Chara, now you wouldn't be able to fall asleep again.
You walked down the hall, still holding the blanket. You grabbed a few pillows that were stashed in a closet and walked over to the door that led to the roof.
You opened the door and climbed up the stairs, pushing open the hatch and stepping out onto the roof. The roof was probably your favorite spot, other than the tree and the huge window.
You found a spot and dumped the pillows and blanket on the roof. You sat down in your make shift bed and watched the sunrise.
You remembered that you were gonna show Sans the clearing today. He'll love it. Then maybe you could something else later that day. Maybe you could do something with Undyne and Alphys, you haven't done much with them yet.
You heard a noise and looked over at the hatch. You saw Frisk poke their head out and look at you. You let out a laugh as they smiled and ran over to you.
"Good morning Frisk, sleep well?" They nodded and sat down next to you among the pillows. "What are you doing up here (Y/n)?" "I should be asking you the same thing." Frisk giggled when you rustled their hair.
"I came up here to watch the sunrise." Frisk stared over at the horizon where the sun was fully up. "I guess I missed it though." "Yeah, me too."
