I slam my locker. 4th period. The last class of the day. As I'm turning around, I bump into a body so hard I stumble back. I look up at the individual I bumped into.

"Sorry," his deep voice says, looking right back down at me. I study him. He has very long hair, and they are in two long cornrows, he has gauges like me, and his skin is mocha. His eyes look very magical and his lips look soft. He has on some black joggers, a white t shirt, and the same adidas as me.

I nod my head and he grabs my hand as I try to walk away. I frown and look at him like he's lost his mind.

"No, wait. I'm sorry. I'm just new here and I need help finding my last class. It's been hard trying to find them all." He says. I could tell he's new.

I just stare at him. It wouldn't hurt leading him to his class. I take his schedule and he has the same class I do; AP English. I point at his class, then I point down the hall.

"That's where it is?" He asks. I shake my head no. I do a follow motion, and he follows me down the hall. People are staring at him and me as we walk. Of course me because they never seen me walking with anyone, yet alone a boy.

"I don't mean to be rude by asking but, do you talk at all?" He says, and I don't say anything I just keep walking.

"I was asking because my mother is deaf. I talk to her in sign language, and maybe-" I stop in front of the classroom. I turn around, studying him once again.

"I am mute." I sign to him, walking into the class. I find a seat in the back and he sits in the front. Thank God. I felt like he was gonna sit next to me and try to talk to me. It's not that I'm rude it's just that I'm used to being alone and I kind of like it that way.

I see two braid guy turn around and he signs to me, "Hey"

I look away, and stare out the window. I honestly don't know why this guy is trying so hard with me, but he needs to stop. All I'm focused on this year is graduating high school. I have no time for friends.

I feel someone sitting next to me. It's him. He stares at me.

"Why don't you wanna talk to me?" He says.

I continue to ignore him by looking out the window.

"Come on. It's my first day in this new state and new school. I have no friends at all. Everyone here isn't giving me the time of day. You're the first person to show me to my classes. Could you atleast say hi?"

I just look at him. I wave and look at our new teacher. I listen to her lecture and she turns around to write on the board. I see a huge paper ball hit the back of her head. My eyes go big as I look at him. He just threw that.
The whole class gasped as they looked around to see who threw it. Two braids snickers and so does everyone else.

The teacher turned around angry.

"Who threw that?! Speak up. If not everyone writes a 20 page essay on why to not disrespect your elders. Now who?!" She screams. The whole class turns their heads towards me and two braids. Two braids points at me.

"You! You leave now!" She points to me.

I shake my head no and point towards two braids multiple times.

"Since you two can't make up your mind, both of you leave. Now!" I roll my eyes and gather up my things. I storm out the classroom. Two braids runs after me. I stop hat causing him to bump into me.

"Since you didn't want to talk to me, I just wanted to get you in trouble." He smirks.

"What the fuck two braids! You got me in trouble! We are about to get suspended you know that right?!" I sign to him. He reads my hands carefully.

"I don't care about getting in trouble."

Four day suspension. As I knew. We both got suspended. Something interesting happened when we were both waiting on our parents. His mother came with a attitude and it looked like she slapped him, but that's none of my business.

I hope two braids is okay to be honest.
