LGBTQ+ Terms Used

Transgender: relating to a person who's gender identity does not correspond with their gender assigned at birth
Asexual: not feeling sexual attraction towards anyone
Pansexual: attraction to all genders, including non-binary ones
Genderfluid: relating to a person who does not have a fixed gender identity; may switch between female, male, both, or neither
Butch Lesbian: a masculine girl who likes girls
Lipstick Lesbian: a feminine girl who likes girls
Bisexual: relating to a person who is attracted to boys and girls
Demiromantic: not having a romantic attraction towards anyone without having an emotional bond with them first
Demisexual: not having a sexual attraction towards anyone without having an emotional bond with the them first
FtM: female to male transgender
MtF: male to female transgender
Agender: not having a gender, genderless, lack of gender
Aromatic: not feeling romantic attraction towards anyone
LGBTQ+: the community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual/aromantic/agender+ people
Genderflux: when the intensity of your gender identity changes
Queer: not straight, but not identifying your sexuality
Non-Binary: a gender identity that does not conform to transitional genders (male and female)
Demigirl: when you identify as a girl, but not fully
Demiboy: when you identify as a boy, but not fully
Pre-T: a transgender boy that has not been on hormones yet (testosterone)
Pre-E: a transgender girl that has not been on hormones yet (estrogen)
Pre-Op: a transgender person that has not had surgery for the opposite genitals yet
