Hidden and New Feelings

Bitter Parting

The two lovers, Caboose and Church soon wake as the sun rises slowly. The two watch the sun rise and snuggle in the process. "Hey, let's get suited up again and go to the base before anyone thinks something happened or is up." Church tells Caboose.  He nods in reply as both put on their armor and lastly put on their helmets and make their way down to base.

"There you guys fucking are!" Tucker yells as he spots Church and Caboose coming back.  "Yeah, sorry." Church replies. "We were looking for cookies that the Reds have hidden!" Caboose replies in a happy and childish tone, that he always has when he is very happy. "Hmm." Tucker says as he thinks for a moment, but thought better of it, and does not reply. Church lets a chuckle slip out by accident, and Tucker notices it. Caboose is sitting on the ground and his legs are sitting straight out and spread slightly apart. Church looks down at him and smiles underneath his helmet. Caboose looks up to church, and silently returns the ever growing smile on his face, under his helmet as well.

"Umm, what am I supposed to be understanding here?" Tucker asks. "We found the cookies is all, and they were delicious!" Caboose answers, before Church could. "Ok then?" Tucker replies. "Well, time for some training." Church tells the two. "What about you, you asshole." Tucker snaps back.  "Hey! Don't talk to Church like that!" Caboose yells at Tucker, and adds, "You meanie!" Church looks over at Caboose and tells him, "It's ok Caboose." So, Tucker and Caboose go and do their training. Church on the other hand, goes into his room on the base and sits on his bed to think. "What the hell is Tucker going to do when he finds out about Caboose and I?" Church asks himself, as he looks up at the ceiling.

After some time, Church soon falls back asleep. As he sleeps, he has a dream, a flashback, on what Tex had said and done once she found out about his feelings for Caboose. He tosses and turns as the dream goes on.

                                                  *Training with Tucker and Caboose*

"Hey, Tucker." Caboose says. Tucker looks over at Caboose and replies, "What is it?" Caboose looks away and then back at Tucker and asks, "Why are you mean to Church all the time, but why listen now?" Tucker looks away in silence, and does not look back at him. "Well?" Caboose pushes the question. "Just never mind it, ok? It's nothing to be concerned about right now." Tucker replies to Caboose. After that, silence falls onto the two.

There is a roll of a rock as a figure steps out, it's Tex. "Tucker, come with me please." She says to him. "Oh, um are you going to beat me up?" Tucker asks. Tex turns to him with an amused look, under her helmet, and replies, "No, so let's go." Caboose waves bye in a confused state, as usual, and goes into the base and goes to see Church.

Caboose idly walks around the base and halls, forgetting where the rooms are located. "Church! Where are you!" Caboose yells, as he takes his helmet off. He continues to yell out to Church and finally gets to his room. Once he steps in, he covers his mouth, seeing that Church is asleep. He watches as his boyfriend tosses and turns in his sleep. Caboose walks up to Church's bed side and rests a hand on his shoulder, on his armor. He gently shakes Church awake, and takes his helmet off. Church sits up and hits his forehead on Caboose's as he snaps out of the dream he was having.

"Ouch!" both yell in unison. "Sorry, Caboose." Church apologizes, as he helps Caboose onto his feet. "It's ok!" Caboose replies. The two smile to one another and chuckle. Church leans into Caboose and cups his left cheek. A light blush envelopes his face, he was certain Church was going to kiss him again. "I love your blue eyes, Church." Caboose says.  "Well, I love your Green eyes, Caboose." Church replies. "Thank you!" he replies. As Caboose finishes replying, Church kisses him softly and Caboose relaxes his muscles immediately.  Church lays down onto his bed, and rests Caboose on his chest, as they continue to make out.
