"Tex, please..." Church says as Tex vanishes. He sits there and silently cries but tries to hold his tears back and sits there with his helmet to his side and he hears someone calling on the radio. "Church, come in, please, where are you?" Tucker asks on the line. "Yeah, we need you!" Caboose adds. "Please come back to the base!" both Blues say. "I feel so stupid for leaving them and what not....but they obviously care and I love Caboose, so I can't leave him.." Church says as he stands with his helmet. He stands and walks back to the base.
As soon as Church gets back to base, Caboose runs up and hugs him and Church pushes him off as Tucker walks up to the two. "Hey, Caboose, let's go for a walk, and Tucker, if Tex comes back to the base, tell her im sorry and that i didn't mean to let happen what happened." Church says. "Um ok, but why?" Tucker asks. "Never mind what happened." Church replies and then walks with Caboose to the cliff. "Church? Are you taking me up here to yell at me?" Caboose asks. "No, im not. I have something important to tell you." Church says to Caboose. "What's that?" Caboose asks. "Well, I have felt this for a long time after the one fight." Church says. "Really? I love you too Church!" Caboose says in reply.
"So, would like to be my boyfriend?" Church asks Caboose. "Yes!" Caboose says. "Well, that's great" Church says. He leans into Caboose and hugs him. Caboose takes his helmet off and looks into Church's green eyes. "Im so happy we are friends, and even more." Caboose says. "Damn right!" Church replies. The two lean into each other closer...closer...Their lips meet soon enough and Caboose pulls away in surprise. "It's ok, this is as if well, you were with a girl and you kiss her, but it's me and not a girl." Church says to Caboose. "It is? So I pretend you are a girl and kiss?" Caboose asks. Church just giggles at this and takes his left hand and holds Caboose's cheek in his palm as he kisses him again. Caboose's eyes widen and his cheeks get a reddish pink color, the forming of a blush.
As they continue, Caboose rests his hands onto Church's sides and down to his waist. When Caboose does so, Church's cheeks turn red as well. "How about we go to a more private place, Caboose?" Church says in question. "Yes!" Caboose replies in the usual childish and happy way.
"What the hell would those two be doing on a walk together?" Tucker asks himself aloud. He turns to see Tex and he instinctively backs away a few steps to give the usual hostile freelancer some room. Tex looks at Tucker and says nothing. "Church left a message for you." Tucker tells Tex. She looks to him and says, "Fuck him, I don't care what he has to say anymore." Tucker takes a couple more steps away, for safety. "What had happened between you two love birds?" Tucker asks. Tex whips her head in his direction and takes her helmet off, her shoulder length brown hair drops down to cover her shoulders on her armor and she steps towards Tucker. "Don't think of him and I as lovers, after what he had just done!" Tex yells, inches away from Tucker's face. Tucker stands there and doesn't flinch. He calmly asks her, "What's the matter?" Tex turns away and picks her helmet up and puts it back on.
"No really, im trying to help even though you don't take help." Tucker pushes the subject. "Look, I said don't talk bout it, and I guess you can tell me what Church said." Tex replies. "Well, he said he was sorry with what happened and that he really didn't want to hurt you." Tucker tells Tex. "When he gets back, tell him I said I don't give a shit. This had cut me way too deep. I'm done." Tex tells Tucker. He just nods to her as she heads to leave. "Wait, Tex." Tucker says. "Yes, Lavernius?" Tex says, as she stops in her tracks to listen. "It's going to be ok, trust me." Tucker tells Tex. "With what had happened, no it won't be.." Tex says. "Well, what had happened? I know you said not to ask, but im here to help." Tucker says.
Tex turns and looks to Tucker with a hurt look under her helmet. Tex turns back away and runs off, without another word. "Damn it!" Tucker says. He turns and goes to the direction that Church and Caboose have gone. "Really what have they done?" He mutters to himself as he goes.
"Is this cave good cover for privacy?" Caboose asks Church. "Yeah, it is, so let's do what we were going to do." Church replies as he sets his helmet down and Caboose puts his next to Church's. Next they both take their armor off and set them next to each other's. Now they look into each other's eyes, both of them blushing now. "Church?" Caboose asks. "Yes?" Church replies to Caboose calling his name. "My heart is beating quickly, is that bad?" Caboose questions. "No, its not bad. It's normal and ok." Church replies, in a smooth and gentle tone. "Good, I thought it was bad." Caboose confesses. Church chuckles at this and hugs Caboose in the process and holds onto him. "Please don't let me go." Caboose says. "Don't worry, I never will." Church tells Caboose, as their lips meet, in a passionate kiss.
After some time of making out session, they break apart from one another and look into one another's eyes again. They both lay against a rock, in the cave, they snuggle one another. Caboose rests his head on Church's chest with a content sigh, and Church has a pleased smile on his face. "I love you, so very much." Church tells Caboose as he leans down and kisses Caboose's cheek.
Night soon falls and the two blend in with the darkness, because of the dark clothing they wore underneath, so the armor would not damage their skin while on the field. They both fall into a peaceful sleep while holding onto one another.
