A/N: I'm sorry for all the typos in the last section, it's my IPad's autocorrect. It's stupid. And I'm sorry for such a long wait. I've had a lot on and serious writers block. My problem is, I know where I want to go with the story, but the middle is kinda confusing . Also, I think there might only be a few chapters on the school because it's hard to write and to think of what to write, because of the nature of the story. The reason I'm writing this story is because I'm failing English. Badly. And my teacher thinks I need more practise at writing.. So yeah, well I'll be on Christmas holiday soon so I hope I'll be able to upload soon thank you for being so patient with me, well if you have actually read all the way down this then thanks and here's the next part of the story xx
Today's Monday. That means I have to start school again. I will be going to school here on the reservation because that's apparently where everyone around here goes. It's not all bad though, Seth goes there as well so at least I will know someone there. He's going to introduce me to his friends Collin and Brady, he thinks they should be in some of my classes. But Embry doesn't go there anymore. He's to old. I wish he did go. Then I would get to see him all the time.
I mental slapped myself. I shouldn't be thinks about those type of things! For one I'm to young and two, he probably already has a girlfriend.. I thought I already established that.
I dressed in my new school uniform. (I don't know if they have a uniform or not, but I remember seeing Jake in a shirt once so...) I pulled on the plain White smart shirt, my layered plaid blue and green checked skirt,I tucked my shirt into my skirt and pulled it up so it was inline with my belly button, I put on a plain black tie and black ballet flats. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and frowned. I had large black bags under my eyes from a very little amount of sleep. My dream had returned. It was the same thing over and over again.
I grabbed my straighteners off of the chest of draws and pulled them quickly down my hair. Once my hair was perfectly straight I grabbed my long strap bag and made my way towards the kitchen.
I noticed once again Emily was baking something, I'm starting to think that's all she does. "Morning" I smiled as I grabbed a bagel of the counter. "Morning sweetie, sleep well?" No. "Yeah thanks." I flicked my eyes towards the door as it slammed open. Sam walked in shirtless with just a pair of cutoffs on. His face lit up and I could see the sparkle in his eyes as soon as he found Emily. See that's the kind of love I want when I'm older. I want someone who will love me for who I am and will love me no matter what. I know that sounds cheesy and many people say that it doesn't exist but I'm sure it does now. I have just witnessed it in front of my eyes. Sam walked over to Emily and pulled her into a tight hug, his lips meeting hers. I averted my gaze back to the door in an attempt to give them some more privacy.
The door slammed once again as another shirtless man walked in. My eyes aimlessly wondered over his well defined abs my heart raced and I instantly recognised who it was. Embry. I finally managed to draw my eyes away from his naked chest and up to his face. A smile was plastered on his face and he had the same twinkle in his eyes that Sam had only moments ago. "Morning guys" A yawn rippled through his body. I just smiled in response. A loud roar rippled through the air and then ceased. I looked out of the window and saw Seth climbing out of his car. Sam and Emily had broken apart by now. Emily handed me a brown paper bag, which I assumed my lunch was in. I smiled gratefully at her. "Have a good first day sweetie. Seth will look after you." What sounded like a growl erupted from Embrys chest. I frowned. I didn't know we could make that sort of noise. "Chill out dude." Seth! I Smiled at the sound of his voice, there was something about it that just made me feel happy. "Let's go Libby, we don't want you being late on your very first day do we?" I rolled my eyes and followed him out to the car.
I stepped out of the car and looked around. This school must have been five times smaller than my last school. This was probably the same size as our English department. Everyone turned their heads to look at me. Great, I'm going to be the shiny new toy for everyone to play with. Seth walked me over to the reception where I was given my timetable and a map. Not that I could get lost though. Seth kindly showed me to my first lesson, even though I insisted he went to his own, I didn't want him getting in trouble because of me. He was going to introduce me to Collin and Brady at lunch.
I sat down at an empty seat in the back of the class. The class was practically empty, apart from a few people sitting at the front. The school bell screeched in my ears as the door flung open, revealing a tall tanned boy with short choppy bleach blonde hair. I didn't realise my mouth was open until a while later, but I still didn't take my eyes off of him. He slumped down into the seat next to me. Throwing his rucksack to the ground.
"Take a picture it will last longer" he winked with his right eye at me. Holy cow this boy was up his own arse! I huffed and turned back to face the front. What a jerk.
"I'm Dameon." he said. Great. He's talking to me again. I turned back to face him and was once again awestruck by his well defined jaw line and blazing green eyes. I nodded.
"Libby" I said flatly, wow that sounded much more confident than I thought it would.
A petite woman walked into the classroom and silence fell upon the class. She began telling us about different writing techniques, something I've already studied at my old school. I zoned out and let my mind wander. It wondered all the way back to this morning. Back to Embry. I don't know what it was about him but I felt this natural pull towards him, as if I'm meant to be with him constantly.
I jumped and placed my hand above my mouth to silence my shriek when a small paper ball landed on my lap. I unfolded it and read the elegant script on the paper. 'Do you want to have lunch with me? xx D.' I looked over at Dameon. He had a stupid smirk on his face. I quickly scribbled down a reply. 'Can't, sitting with friends.' I scrunched up the ball once more and threw it back to him. Seconds later it can hurtling back. 'Tomorrow?' I sighed and replied. 'fine.' The bell rang signalling the start of next period. Great, physics. Seth was waiting outside the door to escort me to me next lesson, even though once again I insisted that he should go straight to his lesson. Physics dragged like a bus pulling a dinosaur.
Once again Seth was waiting for me after class. We walked towards the school canteen and talked aimlessly about our classes and what the school was like.
"So did you make any new friends?" I mentally groaned.
"Umm, yeah. I was gonna go sit with them tomorrow?" It came out more as a question than a statement.
"Cool, who are they? Maybe I know them?" I was hoping he wouldn't ask that.
"Umm, he's called Dameon." ........
