"Are you coming to mine darling?" My best friend in all of time asked. Seth is the only friend I can talk to. Tonights BRM festival. Aka. Blood Red Moon festival. I have waited months to get in. "Oh Seth I can't. I have the BRM festival tonight." He smiled and put his books into his locker. "Well call me okay. Ta ta." He kissed both cheeks and left. I blushed and walked to the school doors. Tonight is going to be interesting. I walked down the path to my car. I got in and drove home. My foster dad should be at work still. Not like I care. He's never around. Some foster dad aye. I turned up the radio and headed home.My house was on a rich street. Mine was the mansion at the end of the street. It gets lonely in the big old house. Especially when I'm alone. I got into the drive way and parked my car. Yep foster dad not home. Huffing a laugh I unlocked the front door but before I got in, next doors sale sign was gone. Ha well someone must of brought it. Smiling I walked inside my house. Dumping my keys I ran up the stairs to my bedroom. My waitress uniform was laying on my bed. It was white and red. I popped it on and did my hair. I can't decide to leave it down or put it up. I'll put it up. Then my neck won't sweat much.
It was 6:30pm when I drove off. I hope I'm not late. I wipe my brow and speed off to the festival. Please hope I'm not late. Yes! I arrive in the parking lot and run out of my car, locking it on my way to the center. I got to the center and a lot of people were already here. Oh my God. I half jog over to the drink table and lift up a tray. Here we go. Its going to be a long night. I strode through the crowed easily. I smiled a few times but kept a straight face. I'm not going to stand out that way. I walked through a bunch of people near the door and tripped. But I regained my footing. I was about to move forward when someone bumped into me. I spilt the drinks on him. "I'm...I'm so...so sorry."
Lunar
I turn to see my brother soaked in some sort of drink. I can see he was pissed. There was a girl near him and she seemed to be apologiesing non stop for spilling drinks on him. Wow she was really pretty. She must be so popular. My focus goes back to my brother and I run over to him. "Are you alright Mason?" I ask. He grumbles. "I'm fine Lunar its just a little soda." he says and the girl seems to still be apologising. "Don't worry about it. He'll be fine." I tell her and she picks up the cups and trays that were lying on the floor. I go to help her until someone grabs my upper arm. "No Lunar, you're about to perform. Go and get ready." Ryan tells me. Ryans my boyfriend but not exactly by choice. I pull out of his grip and go back to helping the girl who spilt her tray everywhere. We stand up and she gives me a small smile before she walks off. Probably to get another tray. "Lunar why did you..." Ryan tries to say but I cut him off. "I was being nice Ryan. Maybe you should try it." I tell him. He grabs my hand. "Come on babe. Don't be like that." he says and he leads me to the stage. Oh great.Ryan walks up the stairs onto the stage and demands everyones attention. "Everyone today is my beautiful darling girlfriends birthday." He says and he pulls me close to him and kisses me. He looks back to the people who were all thinking he was just a gentleman. Nothing about him is gentle. "My dear girlfriend will be dancing today. This was the first dance I ever taught her and I promised to dance with her tonight." He holds out his hand and I take it knowing I didn't have a choice anyway. We begin dancing and at the end he kisses me again. He likes showing me off like a show dog. I look over at Mason whos jaw was clenched and so were his fists. I knew he hated seeing his sister controlled. Oh well, its what father wanted. "I must go my dear, have to keep the guests happy." he tells me and he lets me go. If he wasnt so controlling and power hungry, he might still be the best friend Mason and I used to have. I see the girl from earlier and chase after her. I could use a new friend in this town.
