Chapter 6

Sapphire
I find when I wake up I'm on the couch. What happened. My head is killing. I looked down at myself and notice a dress. Was I out last night. Groaning I walk out of the living room and into the kitchen. Maybe a aspirin will help with my head. I turn the tap on for the water and look out the window. What was I doing last night. I remember dreaming of a dinner next door but it felt so real. I take my aspirin and check my phone. No messages. Well let's get out of this dress. I can't beleive I don't remember last night. Grunting I walk into my bedroom and run a hot shower. I moan at the heat. So good. I washed my hair and wrapped it up with a towel and got out. I put on my jeans and tank top and dry my hair. I look like crap. Seriously what happened last night. My dream felt so real. I need a coffee. I finish tying my hair and head back to the kitchen.

Ring! Ring!

I rush over to my phone. "Hello?" Static sounded in the phone. "Hello?" Angrily I hung up. People these days, who rings and doesn't answer. Rolling my eyes I walk to the front door to the mail box. I step on the porch and gasp. My car! I run over to my black BMW. "My car is ruined!" I kick the tire. Damn kids. My car, my baby is dented. I don't remember driving it. I hate this! Why can't I remember. I turn around to find Ryan from next door watching me through the curtains grinning. Son of bitch probably did this. I'm so not going to talk to them. Argh! I kick the tire. I storm over to the mailbox and grab them out. Just great what else can ruin my day. Growling I go back inside and slam the door. Those people are bad news.

Ring! Ring!

Great who's that. I ran into the kitchen and answered. "What." I snapped. "Daring calm down its just me." Sighing I spoke up. "Sorry Seth. I just found my car dented." I heard him groan. "Aw hun its okay. Anyways would you like to come to lunch. I want you to meet someone." I bit my lip. I don't know. Aw what the heck. If I'm away from next door I'll be happy. "Sure. But your picking me up." He laughed. "Of course dear. See you in a bit." I smiled and hung up. Good to have a friend like Seth to make you happy.

Lunar
I wake up alone in my room and damn does that feel good. To not be forced to have Ryans scent of betrayal and power surrounding me. I get up and go for a shower. The warm water against my skin was heaven. I finish my shower, get dressed in a tight black dress that sits just above my knees and put on my boots. I am the only girl I've ever known to pull of a dress and boots. I tie my curly blonde hair up in a messy bun and head downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and see Ryan. I roll my eyes, grab an apple and turn to leave as Ryan calls for me. I exit the room only to run into Ryans younger brother Cole. "I believe he called for you my dear." he says as he grabs my throat and pins me to the wall. I can feel the air thinning as his hand tightens around my throat. "Easy brother I do not want her broken." he says and Cole rolls his eyes and releases me. I fall to the floor coughing, drawing the air back into my lungs as Ryan helps me up. "Come on love. You're alright." He says helping me stand. I didnt want his help but I felt weak right now. "I am much more gentle then my brother as I'm sure you know. Now I need you to do me a favour and stay out. I'm going out for a while and I told my brother that if you misbehave then he can do what he wishes. Am I clear?" He tells me and my entire body tenses. "Yes..." I tell him and Ryan lets me go. I walk back upstairs to my room. Stupid brothers and their controlling instincts.
