Chapter 4

Sapphire
I put the clothes in the dryer and head up stairs to my room. Before I do that I head to my foster fathers study. He has all my books. I go in and grab one of the books on the shelf and head to my room. I throw in onto the bed and sit down. Why am I always doing these things. That's right my foster dad doesn't give a crap about me as long as I clean I can live here. Rolling my eyes I go to the kitchen and get a quick drink. I grab the orange juice out of my big fridge. I was about to pour my drink when the doorbell rung. Oh my god who is it now. Seriously I must have become famous over night. Sighing I go to the front door and open it. That creepy guy stood there smiling. "Hey, you must be our neighbor Sapphire." I nod and my hand tightens on the doorknob. "Yeah." He grins. "Can I come in?" I'm nerves rattle but I can't say no. I have to be polite. "Sure." I step aside and let him in. I shut the door and shove my hands into the front pockets of my jeans. "How can I help you?" I say. Not smiling. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to come over to dinner." My eyes widen. Dinner with him. I don't know. "I... ah I don't know." He moves forward. "Aw come on just for a few hours. My fi... Friend Lunar wants to probably introduce herself." I don't know. I could go but only for a few hours. "Alright." He grinned and headed to the door. "Come at 6:00pm. See you then." Smiling he left. Sighing I sat down on the couch. Dinner with him and the others. Gee what was I thinking. I groan and head to my room. What do I wear. I look in my closet and find nothing. I only have my usual. Jeans and shirts. Well I have a dress but its a black puffy dress. I guess I'm wearing that. I pop it on and see my hair. Its a mess. I brush through my blonde curls and pin half of it back. Its 6:00 now so I guess I'll head over. I put my black heels on and lock up my house. Wish me luck.

Lunar
I was pacing backwards and forwards in my room for about twenty minutes before Ryan finally came back. "Hello dear." he says placing a dress on the bed although I wasnt that focused on the dress. "What did you do to her Ryan!" I yelled and he opens his eyes wider. "Woah love calm down." He says as he grabs my chin. "I simply invited her to dinner and she agreed." He says and I pull away from him. He lies down on the bed and motions for the dress. I hold it up and I admit that it was gorgeous. It was a sky blue dress with dimonties surrounding the waist making a sort of belt. It was stunning. "So are you gong to get dressed or what?" He says and I point to the door. "This is my room too Lunar." he says and I once again point to the door. He grabs me and pulls me onto the bed. His body hovering over mine just makes me feel super nervous and vulnerable. He laughs to himself and kisses my cheek. "Get dressed. I'll be back soon to escort you to the dinning room." he says as he leaves the room. Evil son of a bitch.

I got dressed and as Ryan said, he came back to get me. He takes my hand and leads me to the dinning room. Sapphire looked gorgeous in her dress and it seemed as though she thought the same of me. I gave her a small smile and I go to sit down on a chair until Ryan grabs me and sits me on his lap. I see Masons jaw tense and I shake my head no assuring him to calm down and that I was okay. He relaxed a little and I could see that Sapphire was uncomfortable. "Ryan can you let me go so I can sit in a chair please." I ask him trying to seem fine. "Oh come on love. Just cause we have guests, doesnt mean that we have to hide how much me love each other right? " he says and I glare at him but he kisses me before I can say anything more. I stand up and walk into the kitchen. I grab the knife sitting on the bench and I was so tempted to go after him. I take a deep breath and put the knife back down and go back to the dinning room and take a seat next to Mason. This night will never go fast enough.
