Chapter 8 - The Big Blow

Julie's Pov

I have totally lost my respect for them. They actually have the nerves to make a announcement , when all they know that Sam WAS my boyfriend. 

I mean, I don't want to be a bitch about it but they actually have cheek to show their faces here. 

Now all the attention went to me. I mean people, I ain't the one who is pregnant... I hate this, being the center of attention. I look around and I see people whispering around and giving me pity and sad faces. I see my parents looking at me full of concerns and worries. Dang, I hate this.

I don't need any sympathy from anyone!!! In fact, I think Valerie needs them because a cheater is always a cheater. And now that she's pregnant, yes she is expecting a baby. A baby made from an affair. 

' I... I know you guys are confused and all, you see Julie and Sam broke up a year ago and ever since me and Sam gotten very close. My sister supported me in my decisions as she has already moved on from him. I hope you guys are happy...'

' Mom, Dad. I hope you guys are happy because you're going to be grandparents already.' She tried to laugh it out to lower the awkwardness around the room. Which obviously didn't work

Whoa.... I can't believe this, she told them a lie. My adopted sister lied to my relatives. Mom and Dad. How dare she?! How dare she say that I'm fine with everything. 

Suddenly, someone grabbed my hands and pulled me out from the room. 

' Julie, are you okay? ' Oh its just Elmo. 

' Yeah.. I think so. Its just that everything just came to me in one big blow.' I didn't want to lie to him. 

' For a second there I thought that you are going to charge and kill them both... Hahaha' 

' You think that evil of me huh?' I asked him seriously

' No baby, its just that the fire in your eyes when she told everyone a lie. '

' Thank you, Thank you for being so nice to me and being strong for me. I really don't know how to repay you.' 

'I think you can repay me by giving me a kiss' 

'Hmmm. Is that so?' I gave him a playful look and lean in. 

I could taste the bitter nice in his mouth as i try to nibble his lower lip. Kissing him just makes me forget everything. He wrap his arms around me and I slowly hug his neck, pulling him for a deeper kiss. Well, the moment was sweet until someone decided to interrupts us. 

'uhemm' 

' Oh. Daddy. '

' I am confuse with what's happening. Please enlighten me and tell me this is a joke. That you're sister is not pregnant with your... Well, ex boyfriend? ' 

' Dad,.... I' I was about to give him an explanation but someone interrupted me. Thank you whosoever you are. 

' Pa. Julie. And Julie's Boyfriend '  I guess I'm not thankful anymore.
