My brothers are gone. Hallelujah. I finish tidying up the mess they made before I head out to work. I pack my bag quickly, grab an apple and head out to my car. I drive to HQ, showing my badge to the guards at the parking lot entrance. I show my badge one again as I enter the building. Up the elevator I go, letting other agents get off before my floor arrives. I step out and walk through the glass double doors and over to my desk. I see Reid sitting in his chair. He's hyper focused on the paper work in front of him. He writes something down on scratch paper and then goes back to his work. I sneak up behind him and hug him.
"Boo!" I exclaim. He jumps in his chair and tuns around to see me. He pulls me into a hug. He pulls away, yet his eyes start fixated on mine. I sit down at my desk and turn around to face him. "How was your morning?"
"I woke up early, had some breakfast, got some coffee, and came here only to get scared by you."
"I hope those aren't the only things you did this morning. I mean, showering, brushing your teeth, maybe putting on clothes; that's all cool too." He rolls his eyes at me.
"And your morning?"
"It was amazing. I had no brothers to wrangle up this morning; and I could get myself ready and out on time. So, it was nice." I turn back to my work and start on the emails. After a few hundred emails, I notice I had ran out of coffee. I grab my mug and head over to Reid's desk. "I'm making a coffee run, you want any?" I asked. He nods, handing me his mug. I walk back to the break room and fill up both our mugs. I walk back to Reid and hand him his mug.
"Oh, so there's this uh, film festival tonight. I was wondering if you'd like to go with me." Reid looks down at his mug and plays with the handle a bit before looking back up at me. I hold back a smile, but I can't stop my blushing.
"I'd love to. Is it a movie I would know?"
"It's a French, silent, crime, film serial from 1913-1914. It's called Fantômas. There are 5 episodes divided further with 3 or more chapters. They're playing all 5 episodes tonight." Reid enthusiastically explains. The wide grin on his face makes my heart melt. "I figured since you know french... you and I are the only ones who can properly enjoy it."
"It's a date." I utter quietly. His smile grows bigger. Even bigger then when he was explaining the movies.

Reid and I stand up in the dimly lit theater and follow the crowd of people out. Reid grabs my hand as we near the tightly packed crowd. My stomach does flips, my breathing picks up, and my heart skips a beat. I know that he has a thing against hands, so the fact that he reached for my hand is so sweet.
We make it out of the theater and back to his car. He opens my door for me, then runs around to the drivers side to get himself in. By now, he knows the way to my house and he drives there with ease. The car ride filled with discussion of the film and our theories on it. He pulls into a parking spot. We both get out and walk up the stairs to my apartment. Before I open the door I turn around to him and smile.
"I had a great time tonight." I cringe at my cliche 'end of date' line, but I really did have a great time.
"Yeah. It was fun to finally go with someone who appreciates it and can understand it."
"It was. There's only been one other person I know of who I can speak French with and it was my french teacher, so this was really fun. But the second entry? When he blew up Lady Beltham's manor with all those people inside. That was so scary. That still gets me. I mean, it was as scary and sad as a 1913 silent movie can be. But it was still pretty good."
"And in episodes one and three, Fantômas make that huge escape." I look down at Reid's lips as he talks, then back up at his eyes. My eyes, despite my desperate attempts to control them, are fixated on his lips. Reid turns his head away and begins to play with his hands. He looks back at me, his face now worried. "I've never been good at shearing my feelings; and I know saying this could mess everything up and possibly get me fired. But I have to say it." He pauses taking a deep breath in. "I like you... Lisa." He finally says. He said my name, my first name. My stomach drops. My first name, this is personal and he doesn't want to being work into this at all. He doesn't even want to think about work, because we both know work relationships are a big no no. A smile finds its way onto my face. My cheeks start to hurt from how big my smile is.
"Spencer, I." I cut myself off trying to figure out what to say. I can't find words to say. There's a smile on my face but no words in my mouth. I hope the smile says what I can't. "I like you too." I giggle, my face flushing a bright shade of red. His face becomes the same color.
"Can I kiss you?" He whispers. I nod as I slowly lean in close. The corners of his mouth form a smile as he moves close to me. I meet him there and crash into his lips. with a smile painted across my face. He pulls me in to a soft, deep kiss. He pulls away yet his lips linger on mine for just a second before he pulls completely away, an obnoxiously big smile painted across my face. I bite my lip to hold back my smile.
"So, uh." I start, but don't exactly know what I'm trying to say. "Does this mean we're-" I cut myself off. Spencer shrugs and nods.
"Lisa, would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" Spencer asks as a big smile appears on him too.
"I would love to." I pull Spencer in and give him a kiss on the cheek "Bonne nuit, Spencer." He takes a step back, pulls his hand out of his pocket, and waves to me as I walk inside.
Before I close the door I hear a faint: "Good night, Lisa." from Spencer. I close the door and my heart pounds in my chest.
