  [ Evans ]

"Evans, and Morgan take the back. David and I have the front." Hotch demands. Mogran and I sneak our way into the back. We decided to have a soft entrance since there are hostages and we don't want our unsub to do anything to hasty. Morgan points to the door with his gun, telling me to open in. I look at him, and give a slight nod as I open the door. Morgan rushes in and I follow. Loud footsteps rush up the stairs.

"F.B.I!" Morgan yells as he sprints to follow him. He takes a sharp right to head up the stairs. I sprint after the two of them. I hear a loud thud. I come around the corner to see Morgan collapsed on the stairs. There was a trip wire set up. "Go!" He yells. I rush up the stairs, making sure to hop over the trip wire, and run past all the rooms to the very last one. I see Samuel climbing out the window.

"Stop, Samuel it's over!" I yell. He stops and turns around, a smirk on his lips. He quickly reaches into his pocket; but before he can grab anything, I shoot him right through the head. He collapses on the ground with a thud. I put my gun down, relieved yet still uncomfortable. Hotch and Rossi run in, noticing Samuel dead on the ground.

"He reached into his pocket." I stammer as I try to explain. My adrenaline still pumping, making it hard to think clearly or form sentences. Rossi takes a few steps towards me, putting his arm around me.

"You did what you had to do." He states. I nod, accepting what I had just done. This is my second kill in six years. Killing is still fairly new for me, but it's something I know I don't want to get use to.

Evans and I sit side by side, with J.J on the opposite side. We have each started a new book to kill time on the jet. I heard that Lisa had to shoot someone today, and I know she doesn't like to shoot. I take my left hand and slowly put it on her leg, making sure it's under the table so no one can see. She takes her right hand and slides it into mine. The space between my fingers fit together with her's as if her fingers were made to fit in between mine. She takes her eyes off of the book to glance over at me. A smile creeps on my face as my eyes stay glued to the book. She nudges me slightly, begging me to look back. I surrender and look at her, but just as I feared my smile grows almost to an obnoxious size. Lisa's phone pings making her smile disappear and her hand retract from mine as she reaches for her phone. She opens the message and quickly types back.

"My sister had her last dress fitting today."

"Ooh! For her wedding?" J.J asked. Lisa nods, handing them her phone. The girls look at the phone, awing over the dress. "She looks beautiful. When's the wedding again?"

"Two weeks." Lisa answer as she takes her phone back. I sneak a look at the dress, and it is a very beautiful dress. Her sister making a silly pose in the photo, obviously very excited to be in a wedding dress. Lisa and J.J. look at a few more pictures while I go back to my book.

We all file off the plane. One by one we get our bags, and we head back into the bullpen. I drop off some files at my desk and clean up a bit. I finish my case reflection and file it away. I make myself busy for the next ten minutes, waiting for Lisa to finish her business. When she's done, we head out alone to the parking lot. We're able to give each other a kiss goodbye if we make sure no one else is around. I walk Lisa to her car.

"How are you feeling after today?" I ask looking deep into her eyes. She knows she can't lie to me, if she does I'll know. I study her eyes, as I wait for a response. Her eyes drop to look at her hands, she picks at her nails. I put my hand over her's to stop her from picking at them. She looks back up at me.

"He died, Spencer. I killed him. I hate killing people. I know he was a murderer, I know he did really bad thing that affected more then just the people killed. I know I helped a lot of people get closure tonight and finally feel safe; but I can't help but feel like I'm just as bad as our unsubs when I do that. I mean, I could have shot him in the leg. Why did I go for the kill shot..." She rambles.

"Lisa." I stop her rambling. She looks up at me with disrepair in her eyes. "Yes, you killed him. Yes, he killed people too. In that way, we're all similar to most of our unsubs; but there is one difference between us and them. We do it for the right reason. I know for a fact, that if there was no reason to kill anyone then you wouldn't kill anyone. Samuel had no good reason to kill people, yet he did. You did your job. I promise you, you are nothing like him." She nods.

"I've only killed a few people, usually I just injure them. This is was my 2nd kill after 6 years."

"Don't think about it. You did nothing wrong." I give her a kiss on the forehead. She pulls me into a bigger kiss. She pulls back and smiles, as do I. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow." I repeat. She waves a me as she gets in her car. I wave back before I turn around and head to my car.
