Sitting on my bed, messy bun, a shirt 3 sizes bigger than me, eating popcorn and hooked to Netflix, time just passing by. I was kicked out of my netflix daze caused by my phone vibrating. I looked down and saw my boyfriend Jared had texted me making me quickly unlock my phone and open the message.

Sorry but I can't hold this is anymore. We've been dating for 4 months and the first three months were great but lately we've been drifting apart. Work has been taking up all your time and I've been busy also so I don't think this will work. Hate to say this but we have to break up..

Sitting there speechless with the laptop shining on my face and a text message waiting to be answered. I just sat there and thought about what I just read and what this message means. It had been 10 minutes without me even looking up from my phone screen. I finally responded with:

We all know what happended after that, we broke up, I was sitting in the dark in my bedroom, messy bun, wearing a shirt 3 sizes bigger than me, eating popcorn, and watching Netflix at 2 am on a Thursday night.
