For our younger manipulators still in school: A of you want to delay presenting a project or reading for the day, fake a sore throat. The teacher tends to feel pity and won't force you to speak much at all (though you have to be dedicated to your role: Don't talk to others vocally in front of this teacher unless you feign a raspy whisper)
