She doesn't want to see
their names appear on your phone
while you are out with her -
putting your hand on her thigh.
She doesn't want to know
what you did with them
while deciding what to do with her -
letting old suggests run off your tongue.
Just like you don't want
to hear the stories
or see their names -
or remember she wasn't always yours.
