Visting the past

Sora p.o.v

As we pulled up into the parking lot of the mental home my stomach did a knot. Holding it I gulped afraid of what could happen. Maybe I did rush this and now the thought of seeing my mom again made me forgot what has happen.

I watch Zero stare at me before I decided to move. My hands were slightly shaky as I reach out towards the handle. My hands clasp on to the handle. Its smooth cool texture seeped into my sweaty hands.

"Sora" Zero asked in a careful tone. "Do you want to leave" he asked. My nostrils flare at this and I began to shake my head no.

Opening the door I stepped out breathing in fresh air. Looking around I notice how truly this place is. It was a huge building surrounded by lush green grss. Elderly walked among some of the flowers accompany by the nurses.

The place felt like home, but the smell of anguish and hopelessness couldn't leave me. Walking up to the door with or without Zero following me I open it. Inside was a dull grey color and spotless.

The smell of cleaning materials was strong. Wrinkling my nose in complaint I walked to the big desk in the middle. A young looking lady stood behind it flipping some papers in a vanilla folder. I grasped the edge of the desk as I pulled myself forward.

"Hello" I said. The lady looked up and gave me a death glare. Her eyes shifted behind me and she smirked. I was to worried about my mother to slap the bitch, so I tapped my finger against the desk. "What" she snapped. She was about to be choked if she snapped at em again. "Listen I was told that my mom was moved in here" I said. "Oh you mean the lady who sees supernatural stuff" she said. 

"Yes" I mutter pushing the bile back. "She in room 124. You may go , but not him. Only one visitor allowed" she said. She licked her lips in a preatorish way. I was at the point of biting my lip so I didn't pounce on her. "Go" Zero said. I gave him a look of anguish. I didn't want to leave him with some crazed she devil, but I needed to see my mom.

Sighing out loud I trudged towards the back as I searched for room 124. As I got closer I could smell her familiar scent. Opening the door I stepped in. When I did this I startled her causing her to turn. Once she saw me her eyes widen and she began to creep back against the wall. Her skin paled and her lips trembled as she tried to get away.

"Mom" I said. "No no no no no your not my daughter. No Don't call me mom you monster" she yelled. 

I stepped closer to her causing he rot jump up and run. I ran after her grabbing her hand. She turn to  hit me but I grabbed that hand to. "Mom please stop this" I whispered. Sweat flowed down her face as she fought against me. "NO NO NO NO" she screamed.

I pulled her into the bathroom and closed the door. Letting her go I watched her run to a corner and try to hide. "Leave me alone. Don't kill me! Don't take me away like you took my little girl" She said.

"I'm your little girl. I'm right here in front of you! Why can't you see me" I yelled. "NO YOU ARE NOT MY DAUGHTER! YOUR A MONSTER WHO DISGUISE HERSELF AS MY DAUGHTER. THOSE EYES ARE NOT MY KIN. YOU WEAR HER SKIN AND ACT LIKE HER YET YOU'RE A COLD BLOODED MURDER" She yelled. Tears began to form as they fell down my face.

"Please don't do this" I whispered. "Leave me be. You've done enough" she said in a harsh way. I looked up and turned away. Emotions flowed in me and out. I clenched my fist and backed away.

"You never lost your daughter, but you have pushed her away. All I ever done is care for you. I took care of you when they died. You shut down on me and forgot who I was. Those couple of times you did remember me made me smile. I can't keep doing this.

If you truly think of me as a monster then so be it. Just remember I will always love you" I said. She backed away more and began to cry. I turned and left walking away from her. My whole family is gone. I'm alone again. Tears sprung as I tried to hold them back.

I left making my way back. The she devil was all over Zero. I didn't need this right know, and I was already emotional. As the girl leaned up to try and kiss Zero I grabbed her hair pulling her down. 'What the hell" she yelled turning.

She turned right into my fist and fell down clutching her nose. I was moody and didn't want to be yelled at so I grabbed Zero dragging him out. Looking back at the mental home I sighed. I guess visiting the past was a mistake.
