Pinkamena Diane Pie

~Chapter 3~

Oh silly, Twilight won't be writing from the grave.

Sunset stared at the message with disbelief. "Something's wrong.. really wrong. I need to go to Equestria.. Now !" She said.

"Well, no-one's stopping you." Pinkie said, internally smiling. Now was her chance.

"Just... be careful." Twilight said. Sunset nodded and went to the portal. 

'I hope everything's okay.' She thought as she stepped through.

Pinkie looked at Applejack, who was panting hard. 

"Pinkie, please..." Applejack said.

"Please for what ? To kill you ?" Pinkamena asked, her evil smile growing larger. She stepped towards Applejack, whose face was covered in the blood trickling from her forehead. Her flank had a gazillion cuts on it, and Applejack already felt light-headed from so much of blood loss. 

"No- I-" Applejack started to say, but dots swam before her eyes. 

'This is it..' Applejack thought. She knew that she was going to die. 

The last thing she saw was Pinkamena holding a knife on her throat.

"Applejack ? Is that you ?" Rainbow asked, walking into the room. She glanced at Applejack, whose headless body lay on the ground, and then at Pinkamena.

"What did you do ?" Rainbow asked, taking a step backwards.

"Your turn.." Pinkamena said, walking towards the blue pegasus. She tried to fly away, but her wings failed her. Panic stricken, she froze on the spot, as Pinkie ever so gently made a cut on her face. Rainbow stood there, staring at Pinkie. She winced at the pain. She tried to run, or atleast to scream, but none of her body parts seemed to work. 

Pinkie pushed her to the ground, and stood over her. She brought down the knife onto Rainbow's good wing, slicing it off. Rainbow finally managed to let out a scream.

"What's wrong, Dashie ? Not enjoying this ?" Pinkie asked.

"Why are you doing this ?" Rainbow asked. Pinkie frowned.

"You shouldn't ask such questions, ya know ?" She said, stabbing Rainbow's heart, and watched as her life slipped away.

The first thing Sunset saw when she came out of the portal was Starlight's mangled mess. She gasped, and did her best to hold in her puke. 

'This must be the student Twilight was talking about.' She thought. 'But, who could've done this ?'

As if on cue, Sunset heard someone coughing from the other side of the library. She turned and saw Spike tied to one of the pillars. He was alive, but he looked like he was about to die. His spikes were all gone, and some of his purple scales were skinned off, revealing a red layer of skin. 

"Spike ? What happened ? Who did this to you ?" Sunset asked, untying the poor dragon. He coughed some blood, and looked at Sunset.

"Twilight... dead... room near throne room... Pinkie...." He said, and unfortunately, those were his last words. Sunset backed out of the library. She couldn't believe it. Sunset stopped when she saw Rainbow's body on the ground. Her heart was pulled out of her chest, and blood surrounded her. Her chest also had a hole in it. Sunset looked inside the room beside Rainbow Dash, and saw Applejack. Her head was severed from her body, and Sunset could clearly see her windpipe and esophagus. Sunset shook her head, and headed for the room that Spike had mentioned.

Fluttershy walked into the throne room. She'd just seen Twilight, after coming from the library where she saw Starlight and Spike; and couldn't believe her eyes. She realized how wrong she was earlier. Even if it was Twilight's castle, things were very, very wrong, indeed. 

Fluttershy wiped the tears from her eyes, and looked up to see Rarity sitting in her throne, crying her eyes out. Fluttershy walked up to her, and sat in her own throne.

"Rarity.. Spike and Starlight... They... they're dead." Fluttershy realized how true it was. Her friends were dead. Her emotions gave away, and she started crying, too.

"So.. so did Rainbow... and.. and Applejack.."  Rarity said, and broke down even more.

"And Twilight.. too..." The two said together, before looking up at each other, and joining in a hug.

"Who could've done this ?" Fluttershy asked. 

"Some heartless beast, no doubt." Rarity said.

"Mind if this 'heartless beast' joins you ?"

Sunset opened the door to the mentioned room, and nearly puked. Twilight's body lay in front of her. The Princess's wings were cut off, and her mane was spread out like a wild bird's nest. One of her hooves had a deep cut in it, and there was one on her abdomen and chest. About half of the room was filled with her blood, and her eyes were pulled out of their sockets.

"T-twilight ?" Sunset asked, reaching out a hoof towards the alicorn.

Just then, she heard a scream.
