Zoey:"your home!!!!sorryif i didnt save you some cookies hehehe so what the doctor said?"she said looking curious
Ashley POV
My stomach was just having butterflies,i was so nervous to tell her what the doctor told me,if i leave her alone,she dont have anyone else,we both have not hear anything from our parents either...she always rely me,im her backbone without me...she wouldnt be straight up...happy,cheerful.
Malak:"hey baby are you okay?"Malak snapped me out from my mind
Ashley:"oh yeah im fine...."
Zoey:"so sis what happened?"she said looking me straight in the eye
I couldn't even look at her straight in the eye,but i know,she must know the truth.
Ashley:"i have cancer..."
i was starting to tear up..Malak held me close in his arms to comfort me.I looked up seeing Zoey just staring at me with her eyes watery.
Zoey:"so now your'e gonna leave me?"she said with with her voice that sounded shaky and scared.
Ashley:"what you mean?"i said looking at her in curiousity
Zoey:"i've been keeping this secret,for a long time Ash!"she said walking off with her hands on her head
Jaden:"baby chill,you want some water?"
At that point,my mind was just not taking stuff in,i couldn't think straight like im suppose to,i had the feeling i was on the verge of passing out but i know im better than this.
Zoey:"we both had never heard anything from mom and dad...so last week nonna (grandmother in italian) called me all of the sudden.."
She was walking around the living room in circles,trying to catch her breath,i could hear from the tone of her voice she was sad and scared again.
Zoey:"and you know what she said Ash!?"she said looking at me with her eyes teary and her tear streaming down her cheeks
Zoey:"nonna told me mom died,because of cancer,and dad!!"she said shouting while crying,she then just sat down on the couch with her hands closing her eyes
Ashley:"momma died?..."i said with my voice studdering
Zoey:"yes Ash...she died because of cancer..."she mumbled
Ashley:"perché non me l'hai detto in precedenza , dovremmo averla visitata Zoey "i said in Italian,cause i didnt want the boys wanna know
At this point Malak and Jaden were at kitchen.I sat beside Zoey crying my eyes out.
Zoey:"dispiace Ashley , non sapevo cosa fare in quel point..i era spaventato"
Zoey:"i dont want to lose you Ashley,so does Malak"she said looking up at me,her eyes were so red
Ashley:"i know Zozo,but how about dad?"
Zoey"nonna said he left,they dont know where he went.."
Ashley:"dad was not there went mom went thru all that?"i said while anger started to build up in my emotions
i just let out a sigh cause getting mad wont do anything better,i just held her hand tgt,looking her straight in the eye,and hugged her.
Ashley"i wont leave you"i said hugging her."Come on wanna order some pizza?"i said trying to change the mood
Zoey:"ok sure"she said smiling
The smile she had just made every problem i had disappear.I walked in the kitchen with her holding my hands.Deed down i felt scared
