Day in the Dark Forest

It was Saturday and I had tryouts tomorrow morning. But today was my day, so I got u early and dress. Before heading into the Dark Forest and changed into my animal form. Which was a doe. I stretched a little before running into the forest.

I meet a group of Hippogriffs in a paddock near Hagrids hut. I bowed to them and they bow back I watched them for awhile before leaving. I then saw the herd of Hogwarts Thestrals in a clearing eating and feeding their young. 

I changed back into human form decided to draw a picture of a certain mother and foal. I also draw picture of a grey hippogriff I saw in the paddock near Hagrids hut. After that I put my drawing book away and changed back into a doe to wander some more. To see what other magical creatures or beautiful scenes I could find.

(an hour later)

I had fun wandering the forest for a while taking in the beautiful scenery. Until a centaur tried to kill me with his bow and arrow. I jumped out of the way and changed back into my human form holding my hands up in surrender. He lowered his bow when he saw I was only a child (or foal in his culture).

"You should not be her, it is dangerous for a child alone" he stated. I told him I was only exploring and asked for his name. "My name is Firenze and you are?" he asked.

"Faline Potter, nice to meet you and my brother told me about you. You saved him from Voldemort two years ago and I thank you for that" I said bowing to him. He again told me it was not safe, especially for a Potter to be in here alone. "But I am not alone, I am with you, my phoenix and ferret" I stated.

Jean landed on one shoulder as Gwen climbed on to the other. Firenze sighed and said "you are so stubborn just like your parents". This caught my attention and I asked him how he knew my parents. He told me how Dad use to come in here on full moons with Uncle Remus, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew. He also said that my mother saved his life one day from a giant spider.

This made me very happy and he then showed me around the forest. Because he knew I wouldn't leave. I had changed back into a doe to keep up with him. The forest was even more beautiful then I ever dreamed.

Firenze took me to a meadow and I saw other centaurs galloping across it. They didn't notice me or Firenze, as we stayed hidden. But it came time for me to leave, so Firenze escorted us (Jean, Gwen and I) back to the edge of the forest near the Black Lake.

We said goodbye and I promised to vista more often. He promised to show me around the forest some more and told me to meet him at the lake on Saturday mornings. So that he could show me the forest and help me with astronomy. Because I wasn't good at constellations or knowing where the planets are. The only things I knew were the moon, and where Orion's Belt & the Southern Cross were.
