The city’s most enduring landmark of the Spanish era---- FORT PILAR ---- which stands strong today as a Shine to the Lady of the Pilar.
This day also marks the city’s founding date although its largest and most festive celebration falls on October 12, Fiesta Pilar, where the Fort becomes a magnet for pilgrims far and wide.
The long and sustained Spanish presence in Zamboanga gave birth to a unique dialect ---- CHAVACANO ---- a Spanish patois that is being assiduously kept vibrant by Zamboanguenos today.

She is working now in a well-known Company here in the city.
Unexpectedly, she will meet the son’s friend of the CEO of the company ---> Hongki - the vocalist of the K-pop band in Korea ---- FT Island.
They will just have a short vacation here in Zamboanga, just to perform on the upcoming anniversary of the company.
