As soon as I reached him I tapped his shoulder which made him turn around. As soon as he saw me his smile disappeared.
"Can I help you?"
I put my hands on my hips. "Don't remember me?"
He smirked. "I see a lot of faces babe and if I saw yours I'm pretty sure I would remember it."
"Cut the bullshit. I want my hat back."
He gave me a confused expression.
"Let me refresh your mind then. I was on a walk yesterday with a lab that has a blue collar and a blue leash. While I was minding my own business you tried to steal my wallet but ended up stealing my hat."
"I'm sorry Sweetheart but I don't remember stealing anything."
"Quit lying." I said, angrily. "Just give me my hat and I'll leave you alone."
He glanced at me. "I told you I don't know what your talking about." He turned around and began to talk to his friends.
I grabbed his arm and turned him around. "Okay jerk face I just want my hat back."
"Ian, just give her hat back." A guy from the group spoke up.
"I don't have this girls hat."
I grumbled. "Whatever. I'll bug you later."
Ian grinned. "I look forward to that Sweetheart."
I rolled my eyes and turned around going back over to my table. I sat down and began to eat my food, not saying anything.
"What's up?" Jake asked as he noticed me.
I ignored him.
"Cam?"
"Nothing." I snapped.
He poked me in the stomach and began to tickle my sides, making me laugh.
"Stop!!" I cried.
"Tell me what is the matter and I'll stop."
"Okay, okay!" I cried out.
He stopped.
"I found the guy that stole my hat and I went to go get it back and he was a total jerk and it made me mad."
"Well your not mad now?"
"No."
He smiled. "Then don't worry about it."
The first bell rang and Jake and I took care of our trays before we went to our next class.

At the end of the school day I called my dad quickly telling him that I was going to go home with Jake before I got into Jake's truck.
"So what are your parents planning on playing tonight?" I asked.
"I'm not sure. I guess we'll just have to find out when we get there."
The rest of the car ride was silent, but not an awkward silence, it was comfortable.
I climbed out of Jake's little truck and grabbed my stuff, walking up to his front door and walking in. I set my stuff by the door and walked into there kitchen to find Jake's Mom.
"Hey Cameron." She greeted me.
"Hi." I smiled.
"We ordered a couple pizzas."
"Sounds good."
I opened one of the cabinets and grabbed a cup filling it with water. Jake came behind me and reached over me grabbing a cup and filling it with water.
"What games are we suppose to play tonight?" Jake asked his Mom.
"I'm not sure. We're going to have to wait tell your father comes home."
A loud bang came from the front of the house.
"That didn't sound good." Jake's Mother said before leaving the kitchen.
"Do you still think there going to do game night now?" I asked before taking a drink.
"Who knows." He shrugged, taking a drink.
His Mother came back into the kitchen a few moments later. "Sorry Jake but I need you to watch your siblings tonight. Your Dad has a business dinner we have to go to."
Jake nodded. "Alright."
"You don't mind helping do you, Cameron?"
"Not at all." I answered.
"Great!" She replied happily. "Then I'll see you guys in a little while." She gave Jake a kiss on the cheek and came over to me kissing me on the forehead before leaving the kitchen.
I jumped up on the counter and began to swing my legs. "Now what?"
"How 'bout we ask the little ones?"
"Okay."
Jake went out of the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with a kid in his arms and one hanging on his leg while two other boys and a girl followed behind him. He set one of them down and pulled the other off his leg before he jumped up on the counter next to me.
"What would you guys like to do tonight?"
"Water gun fight." One of the younger boys replied. "Mom just got us some new ones and we haven't got to try them out yet."
"That sounds good to me, what do you think Cam?"
"Let's do it." I smiled.
