Jake handed me one of his t-shirts and then handed me my pair of jean short shorts. "Thanks!"
"I'll call the pizza guy while you change."
"Okay." I went into the bathroom and changed out of my wet clothes and hanged up my clothes before I left the bathroom. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water taking a sip of water before I pulled my hair out and put it into a messy bun.
"The pizza should be here in about 20 minutes."
"Sounds good." I said before taking another drink off my water.
"Nice hair do by the way."
A piece of hair that was hanging out my bun fell in my face. "You like it? Took me hours to do."
"Yeah it's very attractive."
I smiled, modeling it.
Jake laughed and I laughed with him. We both calmed down after a little bit and I took a deep breath.
"How about we round up the gang and pick out a movie?"
"And then we can keep them occupied while we wait for the pizza."
I walked towards their living room. "Tyson, Luke, Trevor, Mark,Rose!" I called.
All five kids came into the living room.
"Pick out a movie."
They went over to where the movies were and began to argue over which one to watch.
"I hope they don't pick out a crappy movie." I told Jake.
"I hope they don't either. Otherwise were going to be witnessing what hell feels like."
I smiled, laughing a little. "Yeah." I sat down on one of the couches and pulling out my phone and opening Snapchat. "Jake come see the Snapchat filters with me!"
Jake came and sat down next to me and I pulled up the filters taking a picture of us with the dog filter and typing movie night on it before posting it to my story. We looked at a couple other filters before I closed out of it. "I call answering the door."
"Alright."
I grinned and looked up at the TV when I saw the menu screen pop up. The kids had put the newest Star Wars movie in. "Yay they didn't pick out a terrible movie."
"True."
A few minutes of the movie passed before the door bell rang.
I quickly got up and ran to the door. My body slammed into the front door before I was able to stop myself. I pushed my hair out of my face before opening the door. I looked up and my mouth immediately dropped to the floor.
"It's you." I said angrily, my eyes narrowing into a scowl.
"Hey hot stuff."
I stood there and glared at him, not letting any noise come out of my mouth. I jumped as someone brushed my side.
"What's taking so long?" Jake asked, looking up after he was done talking. "Oh."
"Can you just pay for the pizza so I can leave?"
I just stood there.
Jake sighed and pulled out his wallet grabbing the exact amount of money and paying for the pizza. He grabbed the pizza from the theif before he shut the door and went into the kitchen with it. I stood there for just a little longer before going into the kitchen my arms folded.
"I don't know why your so upset about him stealing your hat. It's just a hat. You can get a new one." Jake said, opening the box of pizza and setting a slice on 5 different plates.
"Me and that hat have been through a lot. Plus I don't appreciate that he stole in the first place."
Jake shrugged. "But still it's just a hat."
I groaned. "Let's just drop the subject and eat."
Jake handed me a plate and I grabbed two slices of pizza before I went and sat on the couch and watched the rest of the movie.
