Up, down, turn around
You're high in the sky and now in flames
Drunk off the fear, is your heart near?
I want to see your face
Up in the clouds,
Away from it all, so alone and close
Tripping over the wire seperate
It was never any race
Be the light to guide me,
Stop cowering in the dark, alone
You'll never get far,
You're never going be nothing
So many lies, up here in the sky
Moving so fast, so slow, it's blinding
Too see the way you walk away
To see the way I watch you go
A bird, a plane, no,
Is it the towering skyscraper reaching the moon?
Is it your love for me, or is
It the love for you?
Up in the clouds, where nothing is real
Where nothing has that desire,
That appeal,
Up in the clouds, the air so thin
It feels like illusional tonic
And reality is gin
You're here with me, and never alone
But the fear, that threat,
Strikes you throughout your bone
Up in the clouds, where reality is gone
We can be together, if you stop moving,
We can be together,
For eternity
So long
If you can reach it
