As Ethan and Benny were trying and failing to get the posts off of the small fence wound our garden I walked up and used my newfound strength to pull them off and throw them to the boys. Once I removed enough posts Sarah had finished setting up an obstacle course with a dummy at the end to let us practice before tonight. Ethan went first and missed the hay bail falling flat on this face. He got up and tried again making it this time and stabbing the dummy in the chest. Once Benny got that down too they switched from stakes to their dart guns needless to say they were much better with these than their hand to hand.

"Em, don't you need to practice?" Benny said to me gesturing to the obstacle course.

"I've watched enough supernatural, I think I'm good." I stated smiling, "But you two keep going."

"Actually, you might want to take a few tries. Watching something on tv and actually doing it are different," Ethan said shrugging. I sighed and picked up one of the smaller handheld steaks we made and walked over to the first hay bail in my way. I stopped closed one eye and threw it, hitting the target right between the button eyes.

"Okay, maybe you don't need practice," Ethan said, eyes wide.

Next the boys needed to go into the church and get as much holy water they could do we would have a backup plan. They exited the church with a gas can full but couldn't get any more so we went to the grocery store and bought several gallons of water. If we couldn't get more we decided to make it. Once we made it I poured some out on my hand to make sure it worked and my hand began to sting and sizzle. Once we had our holy water Sarah and I put on layers of protective layers and helped pour the holy water into the many water guns we had in our garage. We had almost everything prepped all that was left was for Ethan and Benny to fill their hollow darts with sharpened pencils so when they shot the vampires they would die. I also decided to make my own personal handheld stakes with the pocket knife I got when I was younger.

"Sarah's here." My mom said opening my door to see me sitting on my bed whittling a steak. She gave me a confused look before I spoke up.

"School project." I wracked my brain for something to follow up with but she just nodded.

"Well I'm going to say by to your brother and sister and then we are leaving." She said.

"Okay, have fun." I said and she shut my door. I heard her move further down the hall to Ethan's room to say bye to him.

We gathered all of our stuff into duffle bags and went downstairs to meet with sara and wait for Benny. Almost as soon as we made it down the stairs Benny knocked on the back door. Sara opened it and we met in the hallway before walking into the living room.

"Hey, Jane? We'll be back soon, okay?" I said to Jane who was sitting at the table eating cereal.

"If we don't get sucked dry." Benny said causing alarm to show on James face.

"What?!" Jane asked.

"Nothing. Benny's just hoping he doesn't cry during the movie because he's a wuss." Sarah said covering up what he said earlier.

"Nice. Anyway, see you, Grandma!" Benny said before we all started to turn around and walk away.

"Oh, wait. I have something for you all." Benny's grandma said walking to the table to get into her bag.

"Oh, no, Grandma. We've really got to go. Uh, I already ate. I don't really think we need any..." Benny said but trailed off as she pulled something wrapped in black cloth out of her bag. Three daggers. The three from my sketchbook. "...decorative knives."
