Yuki and Efina ran around the town, toppling several boxes, trampling several flowers, at least until they rammed into a tall wall.

"Oww..."
"Owa."

"Mercury? And the little girl from before!" The wall talked, and both girls looked up to face the inn keeper, who looked at them with amusement. "Watcha doing here?"

"Sorry Pa-Paul." Mercury stuttered, rubbing her forehead whil Efi simply got up and pulled Mercury up.

"We were just having fun!" Efina yelled, grabbing and shaking the poor girl.

"Well it's getting dark. You should go home. Have you had dinner yet?"

Efina's stomach growled.

"Guess not. Come in and join us. I hope that pumpkin soup is fine?"

"Yay!"

"Hmm..."

Teo scrolled through the pages in a book at the library carefully, looking for information that he could sell to the informant, Mrs Kat.

"Missing villagers? Demonic presence?"
"Well hello brother."

Teo spun around and came face to face with a familliar red head.

"Cyril."
"I'll have you know, I have not forgiven you yet. Fully. But I heard that you were looking for a demon?

Teo pondered for a while, wondering if it would hurt to share some information. After a while, he gave his answer.

"Yes."

Cyril looked at the man who sacrificed so much for them. But, she was just passing by. More things to take.

"Hmph. Well, consult the dragon girl."
"Efi?"
"She always happens to encounter the problem first, doesn't she. I have to go."

Cyril turned tail and walked out of the library, leaving Teo to question what happened.

"Yum!"
Efi patted her tummy, signalling that she was full with something that were not lies.

"Glad you enjoyed it!" Paul smiled, looking out of the window.

"I'm still hungry..." Mercury mumbled, sipping her soup.

"Well, I will get you something to eat later." The inn keeper looked at the clock and exclaimed. "Wow! That's late! Efi, was it? You should go home now!"

Efi leaped off her chair. "Ok! Well see you tomorrow!"

With that Efi ran out of the door, into the barren streets.
