"Oh my."
Paul looked out of the window, where it had begun to rain heavily.
"This is not going to be easy."
Paul moved the pot of potato soup from the stove. He wiped his sweat from his forehead before he heard knocking. Opening the door revealed two dragons and Gale under an umbrella.
"Hello Mr Paul. May we come in?" The dragon with a sword by his side asked, bowing even.
Paul looked at the direction of the pot of soup. "Sure."
"Whee!"
Mercury ran out of the door, being chased by an elated Efina.
"Come now, it's dinner."
The two children settled themselves into the chairs while the other three took the statement as a cue to grab some chairs.
They had dinner.
--
"Say..."Teo looked at Paul.
"Is Mercury a dragon?"
"Now why would you think that?"
"Not just any dragon. A fear eating one."
"No no she isn't."No lies appeared.
"Then are you the dragon?" Iris asked, scanning him but only knowing that he was human.
"No? We only have demons. Where did the talk of dragons come from?"
"Just curious.""I have to go to the bathroom." Announced Mercury, running into the room.
"Well thank you Paul."
"Pleasure."
-
"Gyah!"
Teo and Efi were awoken by another scream, rushing down to find another villager thrashing in his sleep as his son yelled for help."Help! The demon striked again!"
Captain Neil ran out of his house in nothing but his pyjamas. "Who was it this time?"
"It's my father! The demon attacked him." The boy yelled.
Sure enough, when they walked into the house, a man thrashed about in his sleep. Around him were signs that whoever had gotten in had been extremely careless or fat.
Iris ran out in a sweatshirt, instantly scanning the room. "There are horn marks inside."
"How did the demon look like?"
"Horns, wings and a tail."
"A tail."
"Ya.""We need to ask Mercury. Not Paul."
