Elya is dull. She doesn't speak, run, or absorb anything. No one knows her, so she is alone all day. Until she sleeps. Then she is transported to one of the many creative places that she has created beneath her eyes. And Elya can bring these places to life! But there is a price: every time a world comes alive, one of Elya's greatest fears does too. That her parents don't love her, that she's ugly, that no living soul knows she exists. Suddenly, someone notices her, a boy named Derek. She opens up to him, and he shows her that just because her fears are real, doesn't mean she has to give in. Perhaps it's time she faced her dreams instead.
