Hey, guys!!! So I'm currently working on the official third chapter of "Cute but Psycho," and I realized I probs need to explain how the school in this story works. Please read everything in this explanation chapter just to make sure you understand how everything works!
So, I'll start with the schedule. This is the time in which the classes are:
• 7:25 - 8:25 (period 1)
• 8:30 - 9:20 (period 2)
• 9:25 - 10:15 (period 3)
• 10:20 - 12:20 (period 4)
• 10:20 - 10:50 (A lunch)
• 10:50 - 11:20 (B lunch)
• 11:20 - 11:50 (C lunch)
• 11:50 - 12:20 (D lunch)
• 12:25 - 1:15 (period 5)
• 1:20 - 2:10 (period 6)
This is literally an exact copy of how my schedule is at my irl school. Period 4 is an extended class because there's an A day and B day, and the 4th period is the only one that changes. So, every day it will switch between the A and B day class. For example, last school year, on A days I had French, and on B days I had English 4th period.
4th period is also extended for the lunch shifts. Depending on what class you have for 4th period, you either go to A, B, C, or D lunch. There's 4 lunch shifts for each 30 mins in the whole of 4th period. In this story, Dan has C lunch for both days. From 10:20 to 11:20, he'll be in his designated A or B day 4th period class, then he will go to lunch from 11:20 to 11:50, and then will return back to that same 4th period class for the last 30 minutes.
I hope that wasn't too confusing!!
Here's Dan's schedule:
• Period 1 - Biology GT (Ms. Finley)
• Period 2 - American Government (Mr. Chiron)
• Period 3 - Psychology AP (Mrs. Shulman)
Period 4: A Day - English GT (Mr. Scamander) || B Day - Art II GT (Mr. Edward)
• Period 5 - French I (Mr. Suissa)
• Period 6 - Geometry (Mr. Fischbach)
Now I will explain the different levels for each class. Where I'm from, our classes can be "ranked," (I have no clue how to explain this well) so it goes from regular (the basic class??? I guess???), to honors, to GT, and finally to AP.
GT stands for Gifted and Talented.
AP stands for Advanced Placement. If you pass the AP exam, you get college credit for that course.
I'm hoping that makes sense.

I also made subtle changes in chapter 2 so that it actually goes along with the schedule because I just decided tonight to make an actual schedule so it's more believable and more relatable to someone that's in school.
