Boundaries (Charles xavier love story)

When it all began

I know this chapters short but it's kinda just the set up for her back story and stuff.

Collins grew up in a middle class household, with the seemingly normal, perfect family and the white picket fence. The only problem was Collins wasn't normal, far from it.

Collins is a mutant.

Born with the X-Gene, she is part of the next stage of human evolution. This said X-Gene gives her super human like mutations of telepathy and telekinesis.

Of course Collins didn't always know she was a mutant, in fact her mutations didn't even develop til she was 13 years old. It began with little things like a pen moving or a book falling off a shelf, she thought she was seeing things and just ignored it, that was until the voices started. When she was around lots of people she would hear voices non stop, the only problem was no one was talking.

Her parents ever the supportive family just said how lovely it was to have such an imagination, but Collins knew better.

It wasn't until years of the voices that Collins realised the voices weren't actually in her head but rather in those around her. And for 7 years she has been learning how to handle her abilities, although the stray object does goes flying every now and again.

At 20 years of age Collins studies at university in England because once her parents realised her 'abilities' were not imaginary they decided sending her to the best possible school would be the best option, where she could learn and understand why she can do what she does. And because they cared to much for their daughter to risk what a doctor or researcher may think.

That brings us to the present, where Collins is currently studying a major in genetics at Oxford University, alongside the one and only Charles Xavier, the university's very own telepathic lady's man.
