Birthday present

"Monday's are the worst......but not this one."

Amatsuki thought as he jumped out of bed one hour earlier than usual.

He snatched his phone from his table and immediately checked his email.

"Is it here yet? Kashi's present."

Amatsuki impatiently said as he speed rushed through his notifications.

"Ah! Its here!"

He grinned and quickly dressed.

Trying not to disturb Kashitarou who was sleeping in the next room.

Unfortunately, Kashitarou was a very light sleeper and had woken up just from hearing his boyfriend's voice.

"What is Amatsuki doing at four in the morning?"

Kashitaro asked himself as he spied Amatsuki cheerfully making himself breakfast, which was rare enough, on a MONDAY MORNING!!!

Kashitaro knew how much Amatsuki hated Mondays so much that he had to practically drag Amatsuki to school himself and force him to dress in the uniform.

"Is there something special this morning? His birthday should have already passed. Mafumafu and Soraru's birthday is not here yet and even if today was one of their birthdays, he would call me to help him set those two up together. Is he meeting someone special this morning? But I'm here......don't tell me he is cheating on me!"

While Kashitaro was thinking through the options, he never once considered it was for his own birthday, weirdly......its was like he forgot about it. (-_-')

Amatsuki, who was oblivious to Kashitaro, then said something to unintentionally make Kashitaro doubt him even more.

"Ah! I'm almost late! I hope Kashitaro has not woken up. It would be bad if he did. Now, that guy should be in front of the school gate. I had better hurry!"

Kashitaro, who had misunderstood everything, felt something burn inside him.

Coldly, he stepped out from where he was and asked Amatsuki.

"Amatsuki, what are you doing?"

Amatsuki, surprised, turned and saw the hurt in Kashitaro's eyes.

"Who is 'that guy' that you were talking about? Are you cheating on me?"

Amatsuki looked shocked at the idea and came forward frantically to Kashitaro.

"No, its not like that! I was just going to meet Mafu! It was to get ready for your birthday present!"

As soon as Amatsuki said that, he covered his mouth.

"Aaaaahhhhh! I'm such an idiot! Why can't I just keep a secret secret!!!"

Amatsuki thought, but felt a little less guilty about letting the cat out of the bag.

Kashitaro had a shocked face, but the hurt had totally disappeared.

"Oh. So that was it."

Kashitaro sighed in relief and smiled.

"Then, Amatsuki, you should go first before I decide to get everything out of you."

Kashitaro said with a smile that totally had 'I'll punish you later' written on it.

With a shiver, Amatsuki escaped and went to meet up with Mafu.

" How will I face Kashitaro~Mafuuu~"

Amatsuki whined to Mafu after he related the morning's events.

" Well, Amatsuki, you can do it when you give him your present. I'm sure he'll be very happy if you were to, lets say, wear it as you give it to him. You can also say "Sorry for today. As for apologizing, will this do?' while giving yourself to him or something like that."

Mafu said as Amatsuki blushed deep red and looked at his toes.

"This is punishment for last time, isn't it."

Amastuki pouted and Mafu patted his shoulder.

"I'm sure it will work out, like how it did with me."

Amatsuki shivered as he felt the vibes Mafu was giving. Mafu was totally after revenge for last time.

"......A-Alright."

Amatsuki gave in and gloomily proceeded to complete the rest of the school day.

Creeping, Amatsuki quietly tried to tiptoe into the house.

"Welcome back, Amatsuki. So? Where's my present?"

Amatsuki froze as Kashitarou appeared from the living room.

How sensitive is his hearing?

Amatsuki wondered as he tried to summon up the courage to do what he had to do.

"W-wait for a while......"

Amatsuki said and dashed to his room.

A while later, he emerged, wearing nothing but a shirt that was a bit too bit to be his.

"T-this is y-your present-"

Amatsuki started to say before Kashitarou interrupted.

"You?"

"N-no! I-It's this shirt.......that I personally chose for you. I have the matching pair so......its supposed to be a c-c-couple shirt s-so I got it. F-for you."

Amatsuki blushed and stuttered as Kashitaro looked at the shirt.

He really knows my taste. It looks really nice......especially since Amatsuki chose it for me.

"So, why did you have to go to Mafumafu?"

Kashitarou asked, curious why this would require Amatsuki to have to meet up with Mafu.

"W-well......I put Mafu's address on the box because I can't let you see it, and your always the one who opens the letters and parcels."

"......"

"A-and, a-about this morning.....i'm sorry for making you have a misunderstanding, s-so...... h-how about I-I be the apology p-present."

Kashitarou smiled at the last sentence and chuckled.

"I bet its Mafu who set this up but, as long as I get you, its doesn't really matter."

Kashitarou said as he pressed a hard kiss to Amatsuki, and led him inside the room.....
