Nikki's POV
I sat in the car awkwardly in silents waiting for Trent to say something but nothing.
"Um... why are you picking me up so early??"
I asked, but nothing.
"Hello??"
Still nothing.
"Ok I give in but where are you taking me??"
Still silents.
About 5 minutes later we rocked up at Caylee's house.
Trent got out if the car and grabbed my arm then pulled me to Caylee's room. What happened next was out of this world.
Caylee's POV
I saw Trent walk in with Nikki holding her arm and pulling up to my room.
I gave them two minutes to come down to the party but nothing so I walked up to my room and saw the one thing I never wanted to see Trent making out with my best friend.
Trent's POV
I just could not believe what I was doing but if it meant saving Caylee's life I would do anything to save it.
But there was just one thing going through my mind and that was
Is someone watching me kiss Nikki?
Nikki had pulled away so many time because it was wrong but she never kissed back. I don't blame her but I still needed her to kiss back, Caylee's life is on the line here! I pulled away in defeat to see Caylee looking at me with tears ruining her soft face.
I could tell she was trying to hold her tears back but she couldn't and before I knew it Nikki slapped me an ran after Caylee.
'What have you done your such an idiot why do you have to pull Nikki back agh why am I so stupid?' I kept yelling to myself.
Caylee's POV
I could feel the warm tears running down my face and someone running after me so I ran faster hoping they would give up.
I ran into the spare bed room, devastated of what's birthday has become. Before I could lock the door a pair of white flats stopped the it from shutting.
"Caylee please let me in I need to tell you something important so will you listen to me please?"
I heard a familiar voice say
"N N Nikki?" I stuttered.
She opened the door wider and walked in locking it behind her.
"Caylee..."
She started
"Let me explain."
"Why should I?" I yell
"Because you need to hear the full story!" She screamed back.
Fear ran across my face, Nikki has never raised her voice let alone yell at me before.
"Fine, but it better be worth it."
She smiled. But it was soon replaced by a serious look.
"Trent came and picked me up and I thought you sent him. So I got in his car and we drive to your party in silents. Every time I asked him a question he wouldn't answer me which was not right an I began to get a feeling something was not right so I quickly got out of the car and tried to tell you but Trent grabbed my arm an pulled me to your room. Before I could ask anything he kissed me!"
She took a deep breath and let me take in what I was told.
"But why would he do such a thing?" I whispered.
"I have his phone, after some investigating, I found something that will make you love him even more."
"How could I ever love someone who kissed my best friend?"
"Trust me Caylee, you have to see this!" She finished.
